Excellent!!!!!

I found Dr. Patel to be a very thorough doctor with a very good beside manner. He listens to your concerns, and spends time explaining things to you. His nurses and his staff are excellent and go above and beyond to help the patients.

I wanted a quick appt and he had openings for the very next day. Now I understand why. I got the distinct impression that he did not know what he was doing when I first went in for a regular physical exam and to discuss what I thought was depression. His responses sounded as if he were trying to recall passages from a textbook or pamphlet or something. He told me to go to church and join the rotary club in response to my depression concerns. A year later, afraid I might have contracted HIV I still had him listed as my PCP. He got on the phone in the front office with some org and spoke so loudly about my encounter of just a few days ago that I am sure even the people in the waiting room heard him. I was in a room way at the back and I heard him. The nurses gave me strange looks too. All that embarassment in the name of helping me and I don't even have HIV. That was a year ago I am still humiliated by the experience everytime I think about it.
