Dr. Harold Ethan Barkate, DDS

Dr. Barkate is a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.  He has the distinction being voted by his dental colleagues as a Top Orthodontist in Orange County featured in Coast Magazine and being featured in the Orange Coast magazine’s Top Doctors of Orange County issue.
Dr. Barkate is also an Invisalign Premier Provider; a title awarded to only the top 5% of all Invisalign dentists.   In addition to his private practice, he is a Lecturer and Faculty member in the UCLA School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Barkate is a Dean’s Scholar Graduate for UCLA and a Magna Cum Laude Graduate for UCSF School of Dentistry. He then completed his orthodontic residency and earned his masters in orthodontics from the University of the Pacific.
Dr. Barkate stays current with the latest advances in technology and techniques with memberships in many professional organizations, including the American Dental …Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists, Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, where he is also the Program Chair of Continuing Education.
