Dr. Harold Joseph Brody, MD

Dr. Brody is very experienced and one can have confidence in his knowledge and skills. His bedside manner is good. The back office staff is great. (He just needs to slow down a bit and listen to his patients better. He seems somewhat in a hurry but gets the job done :-) Prepare for a long wait when you have an appointment, take a good book. Overall, I would highly recommend him.

I went to see Dr. Brody b/c I had read he was the best of the best in Atlanta. I had been suffering from acne on my face & a little on my back. He took one quick look & gave me a regimen which included shaving my face. When I questioned him about being a woman & shaving he ignored my concerns & told me to take a look at the ladies that work in his office and their skin b/c they ALL SHAVE. All this did was make everything worse & caused the sides of my face where I obviously have tiny hairs to go crazy with tiny bumps & clogged pores. me= not happy AT ALL. Before I left I asked what could be done with a few areas of sun damage on my hands. Before we even talked about options he whipped out a can of liquid nitrogen to burn off the spots. There was one spot that he literally "dug" out with a little silver probe instrument. So I had a hole in the middle of my hand for almost 6 months along with 5 or 6 other scarred areas to compliment this hole. My hands looked like I had been in an… accident! I was horrified! When I called to speak to his nurse to see if they could prescribe some hydroquinone to lighten the scars or talk to them about maybe scheduling some IPLs on my hands I never got an answer. I was told she would discuss it with Dr. Brody and get back with me. Never did. Needless to say, I went to a plastic surgeon here in Atlanta and let them do the IPLs to my hands. He could not believe the condition Dr. Brody left me in. After 4 IPLs my hands look beautiful. No thanks given to Dr. B...

I read about Dr. Brody in an international forum. A Georgia woman said that he gave her a skin peel in 1992 that tremendously improved the appearance of her acne scars. (Apparently, he wrote the book on skin peels -- literally!) She was rather critical of other doctors but thought Dr. Brody was THE MAN.Last month, a PS put Sculptra in my cheeks. I have since dealt with skin inflammation for the past month, most likely due to an allergy to a topical. Dr. Brody has helped me heal and has alleviated fears. He impresses me with his honesty. He and his staff will only sell you what you absolutely need -- absolutely nothing more! For example, I asked for one of his famous skin peels. Dr. Brody took one look at my face and told me I didn't need one. (Wah!) ... Dr. Brody is very protective of his patients' well-being (e.g., won't use Sculptra) and money (e.g., won't sell Obagi and only charges patients for the filler he actually uses on his patients). I had a couple of skin panics,… and his staff always made themselves available to me for assistance. I am completely loyal to this doctor. My only regret is that I didn't see him years ago.

I have gone to Dr. Brody for twenty plus years and there is no one else in Atlanta I would trust. He is extremely knowledgeable and observant. My most recent visit to Dr. Brody was to have a mole removed from my forehead. In the process he diagnosed a skin cancer on my bottom eyelid. I had been going to an opthamologist for three years about the problem I was having with that eye. The opthamologist not only told me there was no cancer threat but that I was being ridiculous. I hesitate to think what would have happened if Dr. Brody had not caught the problem. As it was, because the cancer had been growing for three years, the bottom eye lid had to be removed and rebuilt by a plastic surgeon. It takes someone who both knows his business and who cares enough to work with you to prevent disaster. Dr. Brody has earned my trust and my respect. I recommend him highly.

Ive been seeing Dr. Brody for the last 18 years for various cosmetic procedures and would never trust anyone else with my skin. He never tries to sell unneccessary procedures and never makes me look unnatural. I always get compliments on my skin and I owe that to Dr. Brody. I reccommend him to all my friends and associates and they are as avid in their admiration for his talents as I am.

thinks that he is god's gift to medicine...alot of self-serving smoke is blowing out of this office
