I was suffering from pain and numb legs due to Arthritis, a herniated disk & narrowing of the canal from L1 to L5 which was pinching nerves and causing my legs to go dead after walking just a few steps. I was very apprehensive at first to have back surgery. I tried everything from chiropractors, deep muscle massages, and acupuncture. I even visited a pain clinic that cost me $1,500 for a week of relief as my insurance wouldn't cover it. Following my surgery I was up & walking that very afternoon...pain free with no more dead legs. I feel like a brand new person...a new lease on life. Dr. Cannon is a great surgeon and contrary to some reviews I've read he's also concerned for his patients and has a very good bed side manner. Thank you Dr. Cannon for giving me my life back.

Performed partial lamenectomy in cervical region. Failed to prescribe necessary pain medication and I suffered post op complications. He became defensive, did not review MRI he had ordered until I reminded him. He referred me to a colleague. I have since had three cervical surgeries. I would not recommend letting him perform surgery on others because of my experience. Good surgeons, more experienced in more complex surgeries are not that far away. E.g, Louisville, Indianapolis, Etc. Always...get a second or third opinion.

He's cruel. Horrible bedside manner. No compassion and hateful.

Dr Cannon saw me once and sent me for more testing prior to making a recommendation for surgery. He is very conservative and that's great. I don't want someone cutting into my back if it's not necessary. So, so far-so good.

Dr. Cannon was excellent. Being a child of a physician, I know that a good doctor asks the patient lots of questions and then listens to their answer. A good doctor does not make snap decisions. Dr. Cannon took his time and weighed all the information and consulted with other experts in the field to confirm his reasoning. Dr. Cannon is an excellent physician.

I have seen this joke 3-4 times about my cervical issues. He said & I quote "I do not know why you have these tingling things". Also Said I possibly have "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome"... WRONG! I have a severely compressed spinal cord. If this jerk would have actually read my MRI's, X-rays & such besides a typed out report he would have been able to se the problems. Luckily I am seeing a real doctor now. Sorry I had to wait for a concerned enough doctor to actually send me to Louisville, Ky. I do not recommend anyone waiting to see him to actually go to the appointment. Get out of the area & have a REAL DOCTOR see you for your ailments.

I have to go back after 3 more weeks due this guy saying he will not pull up his own MRI results from his own hospital!I also asked him another question & his reply was I do not know what is causing it!?!? Hey jerk you are the Neuro Doc... Maybe go back to school & learn some more!The wait staff was very unfriendly I signed in & the person said one moment please. I then waited another 15 minutes & followed 2 other patients to the windo to hand them my pre-cert paperwork & the woman said I did not call you wait for me too...Well another 20 minutes went by. Finally was called up for that.This group of doc's need to go to school for more training & the staff need s to know that if not for the patients they would not have jobs.. I would not recommend them to anyone. I told my primary & they said they would not recommend to others if possibble. I have been going to Primary for last 5 years & they trust my opinion & such.

Dr Cannon is a joke. He has ruined my life. Had he treated me correctly, I would still be able to work and care for my family. He treatd my condition as if it were muscular when he knew it was more severe. I have seen multiple doctors since and have been told that had I been treated properly at the time I saw Dr. Cannon, I would be working again. Now I live with cronic pain and am told that it will NEVER get any better. I hope that Mr. Cannon sleeps well at night knowing that he caused so much loss in my life.

Dr Cannon was very thorough in his explanation of surgery procedure and answered all questions. I would recommend him and his staff very highly.
