Harold Kennedy Cathcart JR., DO

I have been going to Dr. Cathcart for years for my Thyroid and he is the best doctor I have ever had! He communicates in an understandable manner, is very open to my questions and seems to be very capable and knowledgeable in his expertise. Thank you, Dr. Cathcart!

Dr. Cathcart is treating me for Osteoporosis. He has accurately figured out what other doctors could not and and dialed-in the appropriate and specific treatments. He is very knowledgeable and skilled -- and my condition has definitely improved under his treatment. He has a great bedside manner, listens, and is not in a hurry. In a word, he is OUTSTANDING!

I see Dr. H. Cathcart once a year. He is an awesome Dr., I am so glad I have him for my Dr. After each visit I come away feeling that I am well taken care of.

Dr. Cathcart has been such a support to my family member through the treatment of his diseases. My family member has multiple issues including development disabilities and mental health issues along with his medical health needs. Dr. Cathcart takes the time to explain course of action. He does not get impatient and is very caring. I would not entrust my family member with anyone but him. His diagnosis have been spot on and he is so kind and understanding. Highly recommend him. When we need a referral to another doctor he gave us a great referral.

First visit with Dr. Cathcart. He didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. I asked about bio-identical hormone therapy and he asked what that was. I told him and he said, "no" that he wouldn't recommend it. How can you not recommend it if you don't even know anything about it. Waste of a visit. My appointment was for 9:45a.m. didn't get in until 10:30 he didn't come into the room until 10:45 and was out at 11:10a.m. What a waste of my time. I traveled over 100 miles for that visit.

This man is brilliant. No wonder everyone wants to steal him away. And he is so genuine and caring. He tells it like it is, and while he listens to you, he doesn't just give the latest " one size fits all". He is all about long term health not a "quick or easy " fix. There needs to be more doctors like him, that partner with patients to improve there whole well being.

This doctor is very limited in his scope of testing for thyroid disorders and doesn't listen to his patients (or doesn't care). Dr. C. says that I am "in remission" and that my tests have come back and that I'm "normal" (despite the fact that I told him that I don't feel right). I'm still severely suffering from hyperthyroid issues. Come to find out with my OWN extensive research that he only tested me for one type of disorder where there are several other types of tests he could run. I've wasted TWO whole years of my life with this doctor. PLEASE don't waste yours. (see book: The Thyroid Solution Dr. Ridha Arem).

This doctor is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He is cold has no bedside manner. And his staff is disorganized rude and they always forget to call for follow up. I waited 2 months to just get an appointment and if I didn't call them they would have never contacted me regarding my referral. I would never ever recommend this doctor to anyone.

He knows what he is talking about. I have a very complex issue and he has been working with me for 7 years. I feel much better now than 7 years ago. If you have a real problem, you should see him.

The doctor was not prepared for the appointment and didn't even look at the bloodwork that was sent to him beforehand. The appointment was a complete waste.
