Dr. Harold Joseph Cordner III, MD

I love Dr Cordner, although he’s quite busy and I didn’t always get to see him on my monthly office follow ups. I often had to see other Nurse Practioneers. Mostly all of them were very good. I only had a problem with one of his nurse practitioners, that was Dr Susan Shepherd. She can be very non compassionate and don’t get her facts straight as to her one on one visit with me, she would tell me that I had said things about my medications, like I wasn’t taking them properly and then turn around and tell me I’d been over taking my meds. She made my last few visits at that office very uncomfortable for me. She put untrue remarks in my chart that’s going to follow me in my care with any pain management Doctor, I go to. I tried speaking with her about the accusations she made about me, when she first bought it up that I wasn’t taking my meds correctly. She’d say I wasn’t taking my medicine as prescribed, then turn around and accuse me of saying I was over taking them, I just couldn’t… reason with her at all. She made me very comfortable and just wouldn’t listen to me. If had it been Dr Cordner or any of the other nurse practitioners I’d never had these problems. I love Dr Cordner and would highly recommended him to everyone that needs a good caring compassionate doctor. I feel bad for anyone that is stuck with Susan Shepherd. I just wish I could have come to some kind of neutral ground with Susan. I tried, but she wasn’t interested in what I really had to say. I don’t know if she misunderstood something I said or what her problem was? I tried explaining what I thought the misunderstanding was with me and her, but the more I tried to clear up the misunderstanding, the more stubborn she’d get with me. She therefore put negative untrue remarks in my chart that’s on file for any doctor that reads my records. I feel so let down and helpless. I know in the end no one is going to believe me, if I said those remarks she put in my records aren’t true. She really didn’t try to help me . She just argued with me and blew everything out of proportion.

Dr. Corner saw me one time and after he saw me he said he couldn't help me and told me to leave. Then my doctor said I should go see him again after I had another MRI so I made the appointment but when he saw my name he told the nurse to say he said to leave because he couldn't help me. I found him rude, insensitive and uncaring. I was also told that he only saw people that he could put a stimulator in. I am not a subject for a stimulator to be inserted into my spine. Think long and well before going to this doctor.

Best pain doctor I have seen in 8 years. he finally diagnosed me and fixed it. All the other doctors misdiagnosed me.

I was referred to Dr Cordner by my Orthpaedic specialist for hip and leg pain. Dr Cordner was down to earth, explained all details of my problem, makes you feel very comfortable since injections are not my favorite thing. Keeps you at ease when performing the injection. He even jokes and discusses other matters of interest. His PA is very informative and will provide all info if needed. For my fist pain management experience, very impressed and confident with this doctor.

Dr. Cordner is an excellent doctor who is compassionate about his work in helping others in pain. He listens to every word you say and tries to help lesson your pain. He is great with children with Cerebral Palsy! He also installs pain pumps and spasticity pumps. He is truly one of a kind. Go see him!
