Dr. Scott Ellsworth, MD

Dr Ellsworth did a reverse shoulder replacement of my left shoulder. Like everyone I had misgivings but the pain became unbearable. None of my misgivings were warranted. I thought I was going to have to sleep in my new recliner for 6 weeks. Turned out to be only 9 days, before I felt safe enough to climb back into our bed. I only used the sling for a week. I never had any pain after surgery. Now, 3 months out I’m ready to have Dr Ellsworth do my right shoulder. 100% would recommend you let Dr Ellsworth fix you like he fixed me.

Dr Ellsworth completely ruined my mom’s shoulder. He did a reverse shoulder replacement on her and used too big of a rod and implant. She had two fractures and has had 3 surgeries since. She hasn’t been able to use her arm for a year and 3 months. She got a second opinion who confirmed the sizes were incorrect and also fixed the fracture he didn’t even offer to fix. Dr Ellsworth does not know what he is doing and shouldn’t have operated on her the second time knowing full well he wasn't skilled to fix this. He has not checked up on her since the last fracture. Run away from him.

Dr, Ellsworth repaired my right arm with a Reverse Shoulder. 7 weeks out I'm 75% back to normal. My arm was totally wasted by a major medical teaching center, Dr. Ellsworth saved that arm.

I was referred to Dr. Ellsworth from another surgeon at KCOA to repair a shoulder injury. I am a 76 yr old male and my initial surgeon could not perform this procedure-a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr Ellsworth is very thorough when answering questions about an injury or looking at X-rays. Gives you his full attention during office visits, and you don’t feel rushed. Always leaves the door open to either call or return if you think you might require additional treatment . Highly recommend.

Visit was 3rd time to see Dr. Ellsworth. On a scale of 1 to 10, he is at the TOP OF MY LIST. Can't find a better doctor.
