Dr. Harold L Lipsky, MD

Dr. Lipsky is highly insensitive. I went for guidance for a recent diagnosis of Chron's disease. I felt he he would be a fit for me because it is one of his specialties. I asked some questions and he told me that he would send information via email. The program didn't work and he handed me two pamphlets. He never answered any of my questions. He also never sent my prescription to the pharmacy and I spent the entire weekend without my meds! Maybe he was having a bad day at my expense.

Be careful making appointment in this office! There is a charge of $100.00 to go to the office for evening appointment. They did not tell us this in advance. On the bill it says " MED SERV, EVE/WKEND/HOLIDAY 100.00" Insurance does not cover this charge.

I have to start off by saying I'm not the type to write a review -- ever but this office is so horrible that I had to - Dr. Lipsky himself is really nice and a great doctor, however the office staff makes it not worth it for even one second. They are rude, inconsiderate, forgetful, and all around terrible human beings. I have had an issue with both desk girls AND the office manager who proceeded to Hang up on me when I asked to be transferred to billing. I have already left this office and will NOT be going back

I have to say this is one of the first reviews I have ever written in my life (I am 30 years old). I have head pleasant and okay experiences with dr. Lipsky, however his office staff is another story. Majority, if not all of the staff are rude, inconsiderate, forgetful, and a few more things that I will refrain from typing. They also talk amungsts themselves while you are trying to ask them questions etc. I plan on leaving this office soley because of the office staff (not because of the doctors) and that is a shame.

Rude and incompetent. Blew us off; complete misdiagnosis almost fatal. For your health, find a real doctor. Overall rating does not allow for zero star entry.

I saw Dr. Lipsky about 12 years ago at Mercy Hospital. I was in my third trimester and had a liver (cholestasis of pregnancy) condition that caused my liver enzymes to raise to abnormal rates. He came in for a consult and while I was explaining my symptoms he looked at the TV and asked my husband what the Giants score was. He told me I could be released. Luckily I had a consult with a perintologist, Dr. Dottie Watson who felt the baby could be in danger because of the liver condition and I had an emergency c-section. I have a beautiful son thanks to her and my obgyn Dr. Seraji. It's dangerous when a doctor doesn't even take the time to listen to a patient.

Excellent doctor. Excellent partners. Exceptional bedside manner. For the most part the office staff is okay although they are not accurate in obtaining inital stats i.e. vital signs. However, the doctors more than make up for their office staffs'short commings.
