I would definately recommend Dr. McKenna. He has a wonderfully positive and calm bedside manner and is soft spoken. His approach is conservative, not aggressive and overly testing, yet right on target. He is concerned about keeping you comfortable.Dr. McKenna explains in detail what your diagonis is, how common it is and will often site other known patients that have had same diagnosis and their outcome. Love the method he uses taking your blood pressure - he never announces he is going to read your pressure, he simply engages you in conversation for a bit and then gradually makes his way over, while still talking. He will not announce the actual number reading - just tells you good or a bit high. This avoids the "white coat syndrome". His staff is very welcoming - never hectic out of control in the waiting room. He never rushes you out. Most importantly, when you leave you know what meds you will be taking, why it was prescribed and what you were diagnosed with.
