Dr. Harold McQuinn graduated Magna Cum Laude with Phi Beta Kappa honors from USC in 1975. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from USC (on the Dean's List) in 1979.
Dr. McQuinn has been in private practice in the Los Angeles area since 1979 treating patients for restorative denistry, comprehensive aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics and implant restorative care.
This is truly a man of vision. His depth of intelligence and creativity allow him, in fact push him, to discover new areas of insight and new avenues in which to treat his patients. It is his goal to ensure his patients not only receive the best of restorative care utilizing the latest techniques and products available, but most importantly, he is one of the few dental providers who can look at the whole body and see the importance of treating the patient, not just "fixing teeth."
Dr. McQuinn has spent thousands of hours of extra training …allowing him to help patients with disorders including craniomandibular dysfunction, craniofacial pain, and associated cervical and related neurovasomuscular dysfunctions.
Long before Extreme Makeover was a successful television show, Dr. McQuinn was invited to appear on Oprah, using his dental expertise in transforming several stunning "extreme before and after" results on volunteer guests.
He has been a spokesman and dental expert for NBC News, CBS News and CNN. Dr. McQuinn has been published in several dental journals and has testified as an expert witness for several important court cases.
Dr. McQuinn travels several times a year to learn directly from those with cutting edge ideas. He brings his new knowledge home with enthusiasm and is able to blend his own ideas and technologies with leaders in the field in creating a hybrid of treatment that our patients are the lucky recipients of.
Dr. McQuinn is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO.)
An avid golfer, Dr. McQuinn enjoys his limited hours "off". He also enjoys playing tennis, visiting a great art exhibit and most of all, spending time with his three children.
After home and family, his greatest devotion is to the finesse, artistry and application of his chosen endeavor; dentistry. Like many of his colleagues, he believes the true art of preventive medicine begins with modern dentistry and all it encompasses.
