As a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), I enjoy getting to know each patient. I diagnose and help restore function in patients with spinal disorders. Whether these are injury-related or due to other causes, I understand the challenges they present. I listen to patients and provide personal care. I teach them life skills that can improve and protect spine health. Electrodiagnostic testing helps me evaluate nervous system disorders. I may use electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing. These tools involve using electrical stimulation to assess muscle and nerve health. This information can help determine the best treatment options. I value conservative treatments for neck, back and lower back pain, and spine care. Seeing patients' health improve over time is rewarding. Our in-house teamwork at Ohio State?s Wexner Medical Center is also rewarding. Expert colleagues are always available for individualized discussions. When I'm not working, I …enjoy the outdoors and relaxing with my family. I have also enjoyed many scouting adventures ? especially training young Scouts.
