Dr. Harold Franklin Roth, DO

Dr. Harold Roth is the most compassionate Doctor I’ve ever been in the care of, he was a medical angel placed in my life. His wife, just as generous, they both made it possible for me to get through a very difficult medical condition while protecting the well being of new babies. Eternally grateful, CJ

I am a new patient with Dr Roth I called in regards to my mediation refills, the young lady name Samantha at the front desk was very rude and hung up on me, I am now looking for a new doctor.

I have to agree with the other comments, nice Dr. horrific staff. My mother-in-law had recently just started seeing Dr.Roth as her Dr.retired. She is a lung cancer survivor and her breathing is quite compromised. He wrote her prescription for oxygen incorrectly on a Friday. The pharmacy told my husband that the corrections could be called in. My husband took the printed needed requirements back to Dr. Roth’s office and was told he had left for the weekend. No empathy whatsoever, no further communicating, just shut the window in his face. He asked if there was a way to reach the Dr.,a simple “no” is all he got. I called the office to plead with the receptionist and I got one worded short answers. Absolutely no empathy or understanding to the situation. When I asked if the Dr. could be reached for emergencies a firm “no”was my answer. More than rude and unprofessional. Come Monday, my husband had to pick up the corrected prescription, mind you, it could have been called in and it was… still incorrect. Thank God for the wonderful staff at the pharmacy that handled and corrected the situation. No matter how much Dr. Roth is liked, I have to believe his staff is an extension of him.

SAW ONCE, BILLED INSURANCE FOUR TIMES. HAD A REACTION TO PREVNAR PNEUMONIA SHOT...DID NOTHING FOR ME.

His staff however is not, they are rude, do not return phone calls or do their job in a timely manner. They act like its an inconvenience to do their job.

I have had mixed experiences with Dr. Roth and his office. When you actually get in to see him he does seem to generally care about your health and he does listen (this is not praise, this is how a Dr. should treat his patients ). He strikes me as an honest individual that cares about his patients. The problems with this Doctor's office comes when you have to deal with his staff. In the last 5 years I have never made less than 4 calls just to try and make an appointment. Staff are generally rude and treat patients like cattle no matter how polite you are. Clearly they are more interested in the volume of the patients through the door rather than offering good service. Not to mention the $20 dollar co-pay for walking through the door. After the first 2 years of using this doctor if I have a medical problem that I want looked at in a timely manner (under 2 weeks) I just go to ReadyCare. Due to the staff within his office and the apparently standard procedure of multiple office… visits for each issue, it's just not worth the frustration to do anything but yearly checkups with him and even that can be tedious if you work a full-time job (see example below). As an example of how things work at this office, for yearly checkups his standard procedure is to have his patients make an appointment in which he talks to patients for about 5 minutes and then sends them to get a blood draw from one of the many medical centers around the area. Then the patient will need to make another appointment to discuss the results about a week later. This second appointment is the real appointment. This could be solved and save a lot of his patient's time if he would just write the initial blood draw request without needing to see the patient first, reducing the number of appointments by 1.

We've been with Dr. Roth for almost 30 years. He is WONDERFUL

It might be hard to get an appointment made thru the answering service, but Dr. Roth is very courteous, and shows he cares about my health. 4 stars for you.

Staff is rude.

It is very obvious that this doctor only cares about getting as much money as possible. He tries to see as many people as possible and does not spend the necessary time to discuss problems. His medical skills are very questionable. Just throwing meds and more meds at a patient will not solve the problem, just delay his having to deal with it. He practices very poor medicine in every aspect.
