Dr. Harold S Sacks, MD

He is the best endocrinologist I have ever been to. He kept my diabetes A1C where it needed to be. Great doctor!

Im a disabled Veteran and and my own patient advocate. I ask for certain labs and medications, and he fights me on this all the time. He has hollered at me several times. He is completely unprofessional Im almost out of medication and he doesn't refill.

Do NOT go here. They are bullies. Check on prices elsewhere. The prices are LOT higher here. They will NOT work with you on a payment plan. They will harass you and not help you.

Dr Sacks stays booked, was going to be almost 4 month wait for 1st visit, pared that down to 7 weeks with help from Dr Weeks but they had a cancellation and I got in within 4 weeks. Dr Sacks is a little dry but he spent an hour with me on my last visit

dr sacks office staff did not do a background check on my medical insurance. if they had maybe i wouldn't owe him for my first and last visit. dr sacks had his entire staff come in and poke and probe and he did nothing. he didn't have much to say either. i understand that inters have to learn how to be doctors but he was very unprofessional about this. he should have asked the patient if it was okay first. i was very uncomfortable with the situation. i did not feel like dr sacks wanted to be at work or that he cared about his work or his patients. i would not make a return visit to see dr sacks

Seems highly intelligent and steeped in his field's information. There is an aloof nature, though, that is probably felt mostly because of his accent and technical style. He's matter-of-fact about chastising poor habits and praising improved ones. My wife has a long way to go. Perhaps he needs to be a bit more strict and forceful.
