I was with another Dr. at the clinic and un-happy with the care. A friend referred me to Dr. Short. While he is a busy man, he always takes the time to talk to you, and find out what's going on with you. He's handled all my international travel shots/concerns, tests and shots that my insurance company requires (and my concerns over the testing). I really like him, been with him for years.

I've been a patient of Dr. Short's for over 20 years. I find him caring, knowledgeable, and answers all my questions before I even have to ask them. He takes his time to explain things in a way that I understand.

Dr. Short is greedy. He requires an appointment to come in and see him prior to issuing any refills for medications. Additionally, Dr. Short will not see a patient for two separate problems. You have to make an appointment for the first problem and then make another appointment for any additional problems. In my opinion, that is GREED and he is milking the insurance companies for every penny he can.

Kept my diabetic girlfriend from receiving a necessary refill of insulin. His answer was for her to go to the ER and go into ketoacidosis
