Dr. Haroon Ur Rehman, MD

Dr. Haroon Rehman has been taking care of me and my mother for more than 5 years. Also he has been primary care physician of my friend for many years. My sisters also contact him for their medical problems too. We trust his care and will continue to have him as our family physician!

Be aware! Dr. Rehman's office will charge you level 4 cost instead of level 2 cost when the visits are just follow ups and do not qualify as code 99214 (level 4). Level 4 visit means that the visit has to fulfill 2 of the 3 requirements (see below). During 2 of my follow up visits, he simply listened to my breathing and tap my abdomen and claimed that he did comprehensive physical examination. He also claimed that he did comprehensive history, which is a blatant lie because all he asked was if my previous medication from the last visit was working. How is that comprehensive? Fraudulent claims to hike up price to level 4 visits. BE AWARE. This is what a level 4 visit should look like: 1. Comprehensive history was documented with extended HPI (history of present illness), Complete ROS (review of systems) and Complete PFSH (past medical, family, social history). 2. Comprehensive physical exam (8 or more systems), Constitutional, Eyes, ENT, Cardiovascular,… Respiratory, GI, Musculoskeletal, Neuro and Psych. 3. Complexity of Decision Making was Moderate complex based on 4 points for number diagnoses or treatment options, low amount of data reviewed and Moderate high risk ( prescription management).

I've been a patient of Dr. Rehman for years. Has has controlled all my problems well. Also he cut back on my medicines that were not necessary. He is always friendly , easy to talk to . I must say, I am having better life now .

Dr. Haroon Rehman is very friendly, kind Family doctor for my family and two of my friends.Very thorough, asks relevant questions and his diagnosis is spot on; orders labs and other tests cost effectively , making sure it is really needed and not an extra burden on his patients. We always feel at ease at the end of our visit.

Dr . Rehman is always thorough, kind and gives sincere opinion based on my medical conditions and situations and how to work together to control the problem. Hard to find in most family doctors, indeed.
