Dr. Harpreet Kaur Brar, MD

Dr. Brar is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She made me feel very comfortable at a time I was looking for answers to my health issues. It did not stop there. She did my surgery and I can say that today, I am free from pain. She is the best!

My appointments with Dr. Brar have been wonderful. This is my first child and I experienced some minor complications in my first trimester which for someone who is new to all of this was very scary. Dr. Brar made herself available to me for an emergency visit and was so honest and knowledgeable. She really put us at ease. She has made this entire experience amazing. I am so glad to have her as a physician. Her bedside manner is beyond great and she makes even the unpleasant parts of pregnancy bearable!

She can be nice, hyper and fun to talk with like a girlfriend. Yet in terms of work, she is like a new grad know it all who tries to show off. She is arrogant and doesn't listen well. Dr Brar talks more than she'll listen.. creating the wrong conclusions. I tried explaining my issues & symptoms to her. She wanted to debate me. A woman knows her body + I'm in the medical field.This was not a time to challenge my knowledge. I was a patient, not her competition. She did not diagnose me well so the course of treatment failed. Corrected treatment was prolonged by 4 weeks. I was miserable and annoyed????.

I love all the doctors at harper clinic in Detroit. However, after having my baby there and having Dr. Brar at my delivery i will never go to them again or recommend. It's a shame because the other physicians are a great group. Dr. Brar however was rude, arrogant and obviously annoyed. I dont recommend her or anywhere she may be on cal to deliver your baby. Mamas, i wish i did my research. Terrible experience!

The way she talks to you is so rude. Has no emotional aptitude or regard for pregnant women or the situations they are in. If one thing is abnormal she makes you feel like it's the end of your pregnancy. She even talked/yelled at me in the front office in front of all the patients and all her medical assistants about me and my baby and how I'm doing so bad and that how my baby isn't going to survive. Even if she means well, I was so dumbfounded by how she talked and how everyone was starting at me. It was so embarrassing. So many doctors can come up with nicer ways of warning you or recommending you to do something to help you and IN PRIVATE! She will yell it at you and in the end say or else your baby will die. If I counted the amount of times she kept saying your baby will die I would have like 300 dollars. At almost every appointment she said that to me. She needs to learn how to speak to people. She seems like she's a people person but she is most definitely not. I regret ever… going to their clinic and having her as my doctor and I pray to God she is not there when I deliver either. Would not recommend.

Condescending and uncompassionate. Had an emergency c section in June and I'm still hurt by the way I was treated.i was so scared and keep remembering her yelling at my husband who was scared and dr. Brar was so annoyed. I felt my labor was such an inconvience to her do not recomnend

Will give you substandard care. Refused to listen and will treat you like trash. She should not practice medicine. I would not let her treat me dog.
