Dr. Harriet Ann Hamer, MD

I never felt so humiliated after seeing this woman. Her words to me were "you are nobody special!" Wow!!! I tell as many people as possible that the only bedside manner she has is awful because that is how she made me feel. I went somewhere else and was looked at, listened too and treated as a human being. NEVER go to emeorial for pain management because I was hurting physically from being assaulted but with her, I was emotionally hurt as well. So sorry for anyone who goes to her for help. Because you get a bill and feel less as a person. Remember You are special!

I feel Dr. Hamer is very thorough. I never feel rushed when I am with her. When I was in too much pain it was the Doctor herself that called and listened to me and recommended what to do. I personally like her a lot. I have been very lucky throughout my lifetime having the right doctors chosen for my health care.

Dr H had a really abrupt bedside manner. It was clear that she wasn't concerned with my actual life or pain level. She just wanted to run her procedures and get the fee. I endured several stellate ganglion blocks during my treatment with her. During the last one, I gave her the "something is wrong" signal and she wouldn't stop the procedure. I ended up not being able to move my head, neck, or right arm for about 5 weeks. She was horribly rude about the whole thing and made it clear that she wasn't going to do ANYTHING to help me cope with the situation that SHE created for me. Overall, I never felt that she cared and I left the office in tears more than once. She might be great for standard, run-of-the-mill conditions; but if you require treatment for a complex condition and/or someone who will spend more than 5 minutes with you, STAY AWAY!!!
