I had taken my son to three other hand doctors and none of them could find the problem Dr Gellman has a lot of experience with children and found the problem right away His staff and PA are great Thanks Dr Gellman!

Front desk rude, they don't even smile when you enter. Bad impression right away. The office is dingy & clutter everywhere. Had to wait an hour after my appt. time to be called. Xray tech had an attitude, not friendly at all! PA rude, terrible bedside manner. This doctor has a terrible bedside manner, came into the room without smiling or bothering to shake my hand! Wow. Everybody there seems to have an attitude. Why would I want this Dr. operate on me if this is how he treats his patients??! People coming here are in PAIN! You should be more caring as well as your staff.

I called Dr. Gelman’s office as an emergency patient since an orthopedic dr couldn’t help. I needed to see a hand surgeon so he let me come in 9am next day. The following day I had surgery. He is patient and cares about his patients. His staff are all excellent.

Worst experience in my entire life. Doesn’t care how much pain you’re in. He just keeps going with procedure long after he needed to stop due to patient’s extreme pain.

Dr. Gellman, his PA Sarah, and his entire staff have all been excellent, caring, and dedicated to helping me resolve a number of wrist and finger issues. Successful surgery a few weeks ago to correct two of those issues.

Dr Gellman is an amazing surgeon and amazing person !!! My son had 2 breaks in his wrist. The ER was unable to set it . We went to a Dr in Boca that told us he could not get him on his schedule for over a week. We left his office in the same splint that was put on in the ER. We were recommended to Dr Gellman and was seen right away . Dr Gellman Made my son his first surgery in the morning . He came in early to fit us into his full day of surgery’s !!!! I can go on and on !! Dr Gellman and his staff are amazing !!!

As a physician, I feel more than qualified to render an opinion about Dr. Gellman and the care he provided me. I underwent cubital tunnel release surgery under the care of Dr. Gellman on 10/25/2017. His outstanding reputation within the medical community is both true and well deserved. My own surgery has led to significant improvement in less than 24 hours and with significantly less pain than I expected. I highly recommend him for his medical knowledge, surgical expertise, and bedside manner. Hopefully I will not require any future surgery, but if I do, I will return to his care without any hesitation.

Waited two hours past my appt time (the office does encourage you to call to see how far behind he is running), and was then told I must have a xray done in the office before Dr. Gellman would see me. I explained that #1)My insurance doesn't pay for xrays unless they are done in a Broward Health facility, and 2) His fee of $25.00 is $15.00 MORE than the co-pay I would pay under my plan and 3) what I am coming in for may not NEED an xray. After speaking to Dr. Gellman the young lady informed me he would not see me without an xray. I got my $20.00 co-pay back and left. Had the office informed me of this policy I never would have made an appointment. One star is one too many.

He is a very good person and surgeon, and nice staff.

It's been about 6 years since I've seen Dr Gellman. He was great with me. He saved my left hand when I had contracted an aggressive infection. Between his care and the daily wound therapy his office provided, I have no doubt about his concern for his patients.
