NEVER RETURNS CALLS! WORST OFFICE STAFF EVER! Because they refuse to return calls (LEFT FOUR MESSAGES, NO RETURN CALL) I went to the office to pick up my file and they told me I had to wait a month! They said they would call me when it's ready. Why a month?! We are now on day 35 and still nothing! No medical chart and no return call. They are playing games with my health. They said they would call but didn't. Look at other reviews online about this office and RUN! Dr Mcilwain was a wonderful doctor but he is never there anymore, ever, he's been gone for months! Yet they cash in on giving you his Physicians Asst and don't tell you there's no real doctor for her to consult with. Not professional! All reviews on other sites are saying the same thing. The office staff are outrageous. Don't put your health in their hands because they just don't care!

Left three messages to try and make an appt with Dr Mcilwain and zero return call. Left message with his nurse and still no return call. This went on for three weeks. Today went into the office to pick up our medical files due to lack of professionalism by his staff to be told that Dr Mcilwain hasn't been in the office for over a year now and has retired! Told we have to wait 30-days before we can have our records. I asked why they hadn't sent out notifications to his patients but got no response. Found out his Physicians Assistant takes all his patients. That's messed up. When someone wants to see a doctor they want to see a doctor not a PA. Sounds like a scam to me to keep the office going without him in the practice. Many of his relatives work there so I feel like it's one big cover up. Doesn't lookout for the well-being of the patient and not notify the patient that he has retired. No wonder you never get anyone live when you call nor a return call. Decided to google his… reviews to discover everybody else is complaining about never getting a return call either. How can a medical office operate this way beats me. Time for a new doctor!

I can never get ahold of his office. No return phone calls back! The Dr. has been on health leave for it seems like 11 months and all they have is a PA covering all of his patients. They suck so I have made an appointment with a reliable doctor.

I did not see Dr Harris mcilwain in the office anymore,, he is great doctor,,the problem of this office they don’t have employee to answer your calls,,, if ever it take 2-3 days to return your calls or concerned: the staff is unprofessional ::now Dr.Amanda is on the office she’s not helping me ,, she always give me different kind of medicine which is not helping me.. I have lupus..

never once returns calls. needs to retire the old goat. RED FLAG, my time is money also.

This was my first, and only, visit with Dr. McIlwain. I was referred to him by my primary car physician with rheumatic specific systems. Dr, McIlwain came in asked what systems I was having, he asked me a couple of questions. Diagnosed me with Rheumatoid Arthritis, said exercise or you will be in a wheelchair within 5 years and walked out. I was a first time patient and he spent all of 10 mins with me. He acted put out, like I was bothering him; was unfriendly and non-compassionate, he also offered no "what do I do next" advice before walking out. I sat there is complete shock. I was told by a nurse from another office Dr. McIlwain books a patient every 5 mins. That is why the wait is so long. The 5 star reviews I saw above must have been paid reviews. No way they could be speaking about the same doctor I saw. Think it is time for him to retire.

My Mother has Dementia. I have emailed and telephoned, leaving messages, on various occasions for various issues. No response. This last time I was going through her medications and she had a prescription for 10 mg and the same medication with another bottle at 100 mg. I have tried to get an answer and, again, no response. Very disappointing. Dangerous.

Seem like Dr Harris is only knowledgeable when it comes to fibromyalgia only. He just kept focusing on that and nothing else then he looked at a paper from my old Doctor telling me I had Lupus which I didn't and told me if I don't believe him to take it up with my doctor and asked me to read the paper he had and his hand but it never said positive for Lupus just gave the description. Clearly the paper just letting him know my doctor tested me for it and it was neg. I will never go back to him again or recommend him to anyone. It was truly a waste of my time and money.

I can't begin to tell everyone how ridiculous this is having to wait 2 hours after a 'scheduled' appointment time to see Dr. McIlwain. This office has no regard for the people who have to take off work to bring their loved ones in to see this doctor. If you are a caregiver and you think you are going to get in and out quickly, forget it. It is a minimum 2 hour wait after the appointment time before Dr. McIlwain will see you.
