Dr. Harrison Nguyen

I was referred to Dr. Nguyen's office for a root canal procedure. I was left in the operation chair for 45 minutes before I heard Dr. Nguyen's voice. He was checking around all the patients waiting for him at the time, there were 4 or 5 patients in the same room. He asked every one if he or she wanted to do dental implant. For those who said no, he tried to persuade them to get on board. When he came to the cube I was sitting, he asked me if I wanted to do dental implant, I said no. He then told me that my tooth was dead, there was nothing he could do for me. That was it. I was sent home and charged by his office for $75 consultation fee for nothing. I suffered the toothache for another few months until I mentioned this to my dentist and was referred to another doctor to complete the root canal. Two months later, my son was sent to Dr. Nguyen's office for a root canal and experienced exactly the same thing I had experienced. Dr. Nguyen did nothing for him, sent him home after charged… him $150 consultation fee. He continued to suffer toothache after the office visit. I had never heard any other Dentists in Pleasanton CA charged consultation fees and did nothing when patients were referred to them for root canal procedure. This is such an unethical practice out of what? discrimination? greed? I don't know. But I wanted to share our very bad experience with those who need root canal procedure. Do not go to this doctor.
