Dr. Harrison G Sims, MD

Love Dr. Sims. I have been a patient of his for 18 years but once he went to Tennova the staff changed and they are horrible. I have a lot of friends and family that have gone to him for years who have switched due to the way they are treated by his staff. His medical assistant Delia is rude and truly neglects the patients requests and needs. I hope Dr. Sims makes a change in his staff. Until then we will be switching physicians.

Great doctor

Waited in waiting room for 1 hour before being called. Sent into a room and waited for another half hour before the doctor came. When finally the doctor arrived, it was a quick 30 second consultation. It appears that this clinic double books patients. Tons of people waiting. Be prepared for a long wait!!!!

Dr. Sims takes the time to listen and not just push meds on you. I have recommended him to several people.

I have been going to Dr. Sims since I moved here 3 years ago. My family connected easily with him and other Jan waiting we enjoyed the doctors office. Recently, I needed some paper work filled out and a physical for school that was extremely important. They were super careless with it and what was needed. They lost a paper, accused me of not following up with a test (which they gave me their copy as long as another for school) for which the nurse that accused me of not coming back had to stick me twice because she got it wrong. Forgot to do blood work while I was there the first time. I finally got my paperwork a couple weeks ago which they had for at least two months. Staff was rude and could care less. Easy to say we will be switching doctors offices.

Other than waiting, you couldn't ask for a more caring Doctor. I love Dr.Sims he will not stop until he finds out what the problem is, an a medication that best fits your nèeds.

Staff is rude and Dr. Is not helpful.

Prescribes my mother the following for fibromyalgia in liu of less harmful and addictive medications.He prescribes her Oxycontin, Hydrocodone, Soma and Ambien and only God knows what else. He does not offer to prescribe her Cymbalta or any other alternative treatments that are not so addictive a nd harmful. He only wants that office monthly fee for the Oxycontin. I am in the process of reporting him to the DEA. I do not recommend this doctor. He is a family practioner. HE IS NOT A PAIN MANAGEMENT DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Sims has treated every member of my immediate family at one time or another and is the doctor of record for my young son. His care is always exceptional and he has followed up with us on more than one occasion regarding health issues we were dealing with. As a father himself, he has a terrific ability to relate to children and ease their anxiety. I would be comfortable recommending him to anyone.
