He is the biggest joke of a doctor I ever meet. Got my blood type wrong . He's just a back woods hick that likes women.he shouldn't be able to be a doctor making simple mistakes all the time

I think he's is a joke never gave pain medication for miscarriage if anyone every had one it's extremely painful. He forgot to mention normal things u would feel during the situation. I left him stuck trying find someone else who is equipped with the correct knowledge . Since him still dealing with after math making trips to the we and the ect everytime they ask me well have you received this or that talking about medication to help it clear up never even heard of it and it just breaks my heart to know this guy is being praised for being a good doctor when he absolutely isn't I learned more about this situation through a nurse in the we than an actual obgyn get out of here your a joke and no-one should ever even think of seeing you

with boatwright cant even call him a doctor. i would never in a million years suggest anyone to go to him not for even a cup of water rudest guy forgetful doesn't explain and plan rude i wasted time calling and calling annoying him could tell by his voice just cause he cant explain anything well enough didnt treat me situation well nor me as a person

I don't know how to adequately convey this except to tell my experience. I found myself in the ER in the unenviable position of being told I had no choice but to have emergency surgery. I didn't see it coming and quite frankly was horrified to think what sort of surgeon one might get who just happened to be on call. Having close contacts in the medical fields, relatives who are surgeons etc. I perhaps know a bit too much about the workings of hospitals to cheerfully be led around by the nose. Luckily I was accompanied by someone who was very familiar... that I could fully trust to help me make decisions as I had been given pain medication. I was horrified to have to make decisions while on morphine, normally I'd research to the nth degree and consider all angles. I was still pondering how I might haul my carcass out of there to get to a different surgeon if need be when Dr. Boatwright arrived. Within the first few minutes we were relieved I'd been assigned someone we felt we… could trust. It was obvious he was fully focused on the matter at hand and not begrudging the time he was missing elsewhere. His bedside manner was great, he was still working through the possibilities in his own mind and not afraid to discuss with either of us when we asked about any aspect. I was grateful and amazed that he specialized in laparoscopic surgery. At one point I asked him what chances he had of implementing laparoscopy, he estimated 50/50 odds. He'd have far preferred to be able to implement his robotic process which would have greatly increased chances of avoiding conventional method but that wasn't possible. I asked him to just do his best to avoid conventional surgery and he assured me he would do so. He made that promise while I was in a drugged haze, I doubt he expected me to remember. Surgery took around four hours, he painstakingly kept his promise and gave up the majority of a night's sleep to accomplish that. I was obviously in and out immediately following surgery but astounded that he was checking on me after I was settled in a room around midnight and again at the crack of dawn, I wondered if he'd slept at all. Later I found out he'd slept at the hospital and had checked in so early because he had his regular office hours that day. I'm certain conventional surgery would have been much quicker and not near so arduous a task... and I'd have never known one way or the other if he'd decided to take the easy way out and get a full nights sleep. The following morning more than one nurse told us he was a "good guy" or words to that affect... completely unsolicited. It's the nurses who know how someone's patients do overall, and how they deal with patients and staff on a daily basis. It seems such people generally quietly go about their lives always doing their very best and don't blow their own horn. I want anyone who is concerned about what sort of doctor he is to know that he is held in the highest regard in this household. It's been 3 months since surgery, I've been very pleased with the results and have been back to full activities for quite some time. He's honest, direct, kind without being patronizing and judging by my results an excellent laparoscopic surgeon. I found myself wondering what he's able to achieve when it's possible to implement robotic surgery methods. This experience was the absolute best I could imagine considering the circumstances. I literally could not have been in better hands.

Overall Dr. Boatwright is an excellent Excellent doctor. I first visisted him back in the early 1990's after terrible doctors could not find what was wrong with me. Dr. Boatwright came on the scene with the right diagnosis and exams and I was able to have another child. My daughter goes to him and I am getting ready to send my daughter in law to him as well. In my opinion their is not another OB/GYN doctor like him. You all don't know half my story but on the above alone I would recommend him to all women!!

Dr. Boatwright is amazing. Both my mother and myself are patients of his. I have been going to him since I was 16, I am now 26 and I do not have 1 complaint. He has always been there when I needed him. When you need to call, even if its on a Sunday he calls you back within an hour. He is very straightforward but kind and gentle with you at all times. I had to have a hysterectomy at my young age and he was there every step of the way and called to check on me a few times while I was recovering at home. He really cares about his patients and I would recommend him 100%!!!

Dr. Boatwright is a very good doctor. He is easy to talk to and very competent. When you have a problem in the middle of the night, Dr. Boatwright calls you back himself--no group of doctors that you haven't met before. He was there to deliver my baby and I progressed much faster than anyone anticipated. When I had concerns about the baby or my health he was great about getting me in to see him right away. He has a lot of experience and I felt like my baby and I were in good hands.
