Dr. Harry Allen Croft, MD

I came with my husband for his VA exam. We have had other exams with different doctors where it felt like they weren’t listening. Dr Croft actually listens. I believe he cares for veterans and most importantly he continues to research ways to help Conditions associated with deploying.

My experience with Dr. Harry A. Croft was terrible. I found out that he was a Veteran and was disappointed in the fact of how he treated myself a fellow Combat Veteran. To name a few, he asked me the same questions several times leading me to believe that he was trying to coerce me to answer the question in a different fashion. Dr. Croft also asked how much V.A. disability that I receive to which I asked him where is it written that it says I am obligated to tell you that, and I proceeded to tell him that I will not release that info and that is discrimination to me as a Combat Veteran. He kept cutting me off when I was trying to answer his questions, rolled his eyes when I answered one particular question, and asked about different disabilities not related to the claim that I have I have been diagnosed with. Finally, I ended up walking out and telling him that "he should be a shamed on how he conducted himself during the interview, and then I mentioned I will be following up with a… complaint to the V.A. to reschedule"

This Doctor saw me through the death of my only son at birth!!! The death of my dearest Mother, my Father and my niece!!! He treated me for addictions to pain meds, eating disorder, alcoholism and numerous physical disabilities. I am proud to say Dr. Croft and Edward Alderrette taught me the tools to go on living through a divorce and the iamputation of my leg!!! I have been clean and sober for over 20 years!!!
