Dr. Harry Kent Delcher, MD

I have been extremely lethargic for many months and have had numerous tests run by my PCP...... but to no avail. Dr. Delcher asked pertinent questions, listened and was able to respond knowledgeably, in a way that this lay person could understand. The office is at times chaotic and frustrating (about 25% of the time and it depends on who his manager is...right now it's awesome) but you will not find a better man. He is the most most knowledgeable and caring physician I have ever known. He goes above and beyond to help. I have been a patient for 15 years and he has literally saved my life twice now.

I had for years carried a list of symptoms with me to every Dr. appointment, and was told it was fatigue, stress and not enough sleep. Only when I met with Dr. Delcher the first time with my list did I get a complete and thorough explanation of what my health issues were and how to address them, did I get any resolution to my problems and almost immediately had a recurring symptom of 12 years disappear within 3 days. I have referred many people to him and they have all had similar successes. He is kind, listens to everything you have to say, probes about your life and history and is able to render solutions which may be nutrition, Rx, vitamins or any other medicinal measure he deems appropriate. I always asked for his notes when I was through with my appointment and now ask to record my appt. as I learn so much from him that I want to keep that info for future reference. He is on time and takes his time with you. I am a devotee as are many of his patients.

Dr. Delcher saved me when everyone else thought they already had the answer without "digging deeper", so to speak. He listens, he cares, and he will do anything he can to make you better, and generally cares for your well-being. I don't even see a PCP anymore, unless it's for a cold or something of that nature. Otherwise, Dr. Delcher is the 1st person I call every time for anything. I wouldn't trust anyone else. **Also, his Office Manager, Alicia, is equally as fantastic. Go see for yourself!!

I was experiencing peripheral neuropathy in my left foot/toes. Three of my toes were completely numb. The tinkling feeling was starting to progress up my leg. I was afraid because there is a history of diabetes in my family. My grandmother was a double amputee, so I was terrified of losing my toes. After a thorough discussion about my medical history and life (thanks for the therapy session Doc! Lol), he figured out that it was an exposure to toxins, not diabetes. He was spot on because I grew up in Louisiana surrounded by chemical plants. Dr. Delcher gave me a shot cocktail. Before the end of my appointment, I could feel my toes again, and the pain in my calf was gone. I was so ecstatic I wanted to kiss the old geezer. He told me that my symptoms would be completely gone in 3 months. I'm happy to report that he's right!

I have been treated for thyroid issues by Dr. Delcher. He has given me back my life. I had been going to other doctors for years without results. I am so happy. Thank you !

Skill and genuine concern for patient welfare are rare qualities. Dr. Delcher has them both in abundance.
