Dr. Karp has done an excellent job of pain management for me. I fractured 3 vertebrae and was in constant pain after a year of healing. I am doing very well now with one or two epidurals per year. The office and medical staff are top notch.

Dr. Karp has significantly helped me with extreme sciatica. I have been to him for epidurals approximately 10 times. I am avoiding back surgery as long as I can. He was referred to me by my orthopedic doctor, as well as, my internist. He is very caring, and legitimately wants to help. Pain medication was not making a dent in the pain. If pain begins, I can get an appointment within days. The office is so comfortable that if I need an appointmentI can, I can make it without being concerned about if we have to babysit our 19 month old granddaughter, or not. We take her, and my husband is comfortable waiting with her in the lobby. It usually takes between an hour and an hour and a half for the treatment, and I get put under. I am very grateful.

I was struggling with severe leg pain without relief. I found Dr. Karp and his staff to be professional, caring and the entire process made me very comfortable. I also got significant help and avoided surgery. I give the experience my highest recommendation.

After I had a post laminectomy steroid injection, which was ordered caudally(not in the usual spot), but Dr. Karp argued with me because I questioned that he was going to inject the traditional spot(which is bad after surgery). I almost got up and left, but received the injection under anesthesia. Afterwards a pain that was somewhat bearable became excrutiating and I have never been the same. 4 years later I am still suffering. Should have sued him.
