Dr. Harry Lim Uy, MD

I see Dr Uy once a year. I’ve seen a notice regarding 24 hour notice. I always call within that window I I need to reschedule. This last time I was told I could not reschedule. So I was forced to cancel my appointment. Meaning I could not ever be seen by office again. I told the nurse I would gladly pay the missed appointment fee and she still refused to reschedule. She said Dr Uy need not be notified and I could complain with her name all I wanted. Makes no sense.

I was referred to Dr. Uy by my cardiologist. Talk about never returning a phone call..it’s been 1 1/2 years and I’ve left many messages to get an appointment. I finally just gave up. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dr. Uy is very knowledgeable and personable. He is eager to explain lab results, discuss my condition, and answer questions. During my last visit he also caught something that four other doctors have overlooked for the last year and is following up with further testing and referral to a surgeon if needed. I trust Dr. Uy with my care and feel fortunate to have him as my endocrinologist.

It was so hard to get a hold of a staff member. Never answer there phone.. Every time I would call I would get after hours. which was at 10Am.. It is ridicules!!

Very thorough , spends time with me and answers every questions. The smartest doctor in the city, but sad to say the nurses and staff are not that great. The nurses are so bad returning calls. But I love Dr. Uy, I just wish he would decipline or change his staff.

Dr. Uy is a great doctor. Unfortunately he needs to change all his staff. The most disorganized staff I have ever met. No one answers phone, you press zero and still no one answers!!!!

The hardest working, smartest, & most conscientious doctor I have ever visited.

Dr. Uy is a very dedicated doctor. He takes his time and you don't feel rushed to get it said and out the door. His front office staff isn't as efficent. I have had to call several times to get them to answer are return faxes from others tring to verify my visits or get a RX refilled. But I will continue with Dr. Uy because I am confident he is the best Dr. for me.

i see dr uy for my diabetes and he is wonderful. i love this dr., he is professional, knowledgeable, just an excellent doctor and i hope i can continue to see him always. he has gotten me on track after me being ill and given me the tools and training to take care of myself along with his diabetes educator mickey reryes, she is wonderful. the front office staff leaves a lot to be desired but i dont go to see them anyway so i overlook it. dr. uy is the best you will find.

I have been going to Dr. Uy for 6 years and he is the best out there. He is very endearing and truly cares about his patients. He has followed up with me directly when I had some issues--which is far removed from a lot of other doctors. His nurses are always very nice, but I will say it's pretty hard to get an appointment scheduled there. They are an extremely busy office. I don't mind waiting because I think his services are worth it. I will most definitely continue to use him as my endocrinologist.
