Wouldn't recommend at all. Lies about the side effects. STAY AWAY. You will be happy not to see him. Only cares about the money, not the patients.

Dr. Mehta seems nice but does not care to take time to get to know his patients. Instead prescribed medication based off a questionnaire. First appointment waited 1 1/2 hrs to be seen, was asked minimal questions about my past or experiences and was put on new meds, questionnaire based medication I guess then told to replace my anxiety medication with meletonin and told if I was having problems to call and they could get me in sooner. Medication caused tremors, sleepless nights and increased anxiety stuck it out and waited until my next appointment. 2 appointment was less than 30mins switched medication again told to come back in a month. In between appointments I was having self harming ideologies and higher anxiety. I called the office immediately and asked for a sooner appointment, I got a laugh and told no I could not be seen sooner that I'd have to wait to my appointment date. I proceeded for advise on lowering my dose to help reduce the effects I was having. The receptionist told… me she could not give me that information and to contact my PCP or wait to speak to Dr Mehta at my appointment. Shame on these people you have some very sad yet hopeful patients coming in and that's not always easy and just wanting help. You prescribe mind altering medication than tell a patient who calls and needs help they are basically SOL. Get out of the field if all you want is $ what your making is no blood money. Trying to be clear 1 patient out to make room for another.

Dr Mehta prescribes heavy medications for psychiatric patients by only seeing them 20 minutes a month. That’s it!! How is this allowed? No blood levels are taken from patients either!!! What about these patients rights. Something needs to be done about this.

I can not thank Dr. Mehta enough; he has helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I have recommened Dr. Mehta to several of my friends and they concur.

Too many patients booked at one time. The receptionist, Diane, is rude! Dr. Mehta pushes Suboxone, a medication that is not to be used for greater than three months, Dr. Mehta will subscribe it for ever long that a patient wishes. You have to see Mehta monthly while on Suboxone so he gets the best of both worlds, he charges you (and your insurance) for an office visit as well as a charge for subscribing the medication. He is a suboxone pusher and because of this, his office has grone ten fold and therefore he does not have time for any of his patients.

i am back on my graduation due to dr mehta telling me to take off . no therapy was encourged . no help!!!!!!!!!!!! meds were changed a lot . discourge ..from my personal view
