Dr. Harsharon Kaur Brar, MD

Doctor Brar is extremely rude and does not listen to the patient. I waited nearly two weeks for an appointment with her, she rushed me out of the exam room in less than 10 minuets. She refused to write me a doctors note about my condition resulting in me being ordered to perform an activity which further injured me. She was very condescending when she spoke to me. I would NOT recommend her to any patient. Reading other reviews on this platform it is obvious I am not the only one who has been personally affected by her horrible medical practice. She needs to be investigated and retrained.

Harsharon Brar has now “retired” in her early 40s. This woman I saw once ruined my life as a headache patient. She targeted me slanderously as a drug addict! I see in the reviews she did this to others. I saw her once after my pcp moved. She defamed me and this record from a now non-practicing dr has followed me! I suspect that she may have had substance abuse problems herself. There shld be better quality control when a physician is hired. I do wonder if her background was checked; I can see she moved around often until she was finally dismissed. I hope patients reviews will be taken seriously

Went to see Dr Brar after a trip to the emergency room with abdominal pain at Maine Medical. My primary care doctor had retired so they assigned me to her. She reviewed my case and asked me about my abdominal pain. When I said it had mostly resolved from earlier but it was a ongoing problem at times. She proceeded to say good and end the appointment. Her parting words were best of luck to you and your health. She ignored the elevated Billuripen when I visited the ER. Its often a sign of appendicitis. Two months later I found a new primary care doctor who reviewed my ER visit and he immediately started poking at my appendix and suspected I may have grumpy appendix and if I had more abdominal pain to go back to the ER. Sure enough a couple weeks later BAAM had to get my appendix out. Not sure why Dr. Brar would not even give me a physical exam you would think that would be the first thing you would do!!

I went to see Dr. Brar for a physical. She was very thorough and I felt she really was concerned about my well being. Highly recommend.

There seems to be two kinds of doctors in this world. The ones who are financialy motivated to better themselves, and ones who are dedicated to the cause of promoting real care for thier patients. You can tell the latter, by how patient they are with you, and how much time they spend, actively listen to your concerns. They will have a meaningful conversation with you, about treatment options and the best course of action for your wellness. Dr. Brar has been taking care of my daughter for quite some time now. I can tell you that she is a professional. Her compassion, expertise and knowledge, is next to none. I am the type of father who will ask for nothing less than the best treatment for my daughter, and would not continue with any doctor who can not provide that level of care. Dr. Brar is one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. I highly recomend her.

No complaints here. Dr. Brar always listens and provides great care. She has been seeing me for the past few years and never had a bad visit.

After many years of complaining about pain in my hands to former PCPs with little or no action taken, Dr Brar actually looked at them on my first appointment with her and pointed out a physical deformity I hadn't noticed, ordered appropriate x-rays and labs, diagnosed osteo arthritis, and referred me to an excellent neurologist who showed me, in those x-rays, the near total loss of cartilage at the base of my thumbs, and is working to help me with responsible pain management when that becomes necessary... because Dr. Brar cared enough to listen to me and take immediate action. My other medical issues have been dealt with similarly by her and for the first time in my long life, I am in the care of a team of superb specialists, orchestrated by Dr. Brar, and all of whom have my complete trust and respect. That is so rare these days.

I have been seeing Dr. Brar for a few years and am happy with my care. She has always had my best health.
