Dr Harshna V Vadvala, MD

Dr. Harshna Vadvala is an Associate Member in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Interventional Radiology and serves as the Program Director of the Advanced Oncologic Imaging Fellowship. She earned her MD degree from B.J. Medical College, Gujarat University, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, India, and completed her Radiology Residency at Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute, India. Dr. Vadvala pursued a Research Fellowship in the Cardiac MR PET CT program, followed by Clinical Fellowships in Cardiovascular Imaging and in Abdominal Imaging and Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, Boston. She joined Moffitt from Johns Hopkins University, where she held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Vadvala is a body imaging specialist with particular expertise in abdominal imaging, and her research focuses on multimodality imaging of gastrointestinal, hepatopancreatobiliary, and gynecological cancers.
