Thorough and professional! Called me personally with my lab results after my visit to discuss all treatment options. I could not have been more satisfied with out interaction.

Dr Nahmias is very good. He is all business, but the staff is first rate. i was quite impressed with his obvious care and concern although he may not show it.

I was recommended to this dr. By my Gynecogist for a slightly high thyroid. I followed protocol for blood work every 2 weeks and then a scan and ultrasound. Once all results were in I had an appt to discuss diagnosis and options. Results were sub clinical and spot on thyroid was too small to biopsy...but I was told I needed medication to lower thyroid for one year then medication to raise it if it got to low ! I asked "what if I do nothing for now" ? I was told that is not recommended! Of course I asked WHY ? But never got an answer. I have since been dismissed from this Drs practice.. Because I didn't get answers ! Ps. I am also a medical professional.

Dr Nahmias is an excellent physician who treated me for thyroid cancer. He successfully treated my disease for several years. I had complete confidence in his ability to successfully help me manage all aspects of my cancer treatment. When I finally transfered to another doctor (an internationally recognized endocrinologist, a specialist recommended by Dr. Nahmias due to additional treatment needs) she was completely impressed by the thoroughness of his records and all steps he recommended in my care.

the staff in this dr's office are the best around but sadly the dr is about the worst. he is condescending and rude and going to him has done me more harm the good. i would not recommend him to anyone to say the least.

I absolutely dreaded having to go to this doctor's office. I saw him in the early 90's and he was disrespectful, abrupt, and made me scared to ask questions. He never looked me in the eyes one time. He comes across as extremely arrogant and condescending. I went back to him 15 years later because of different insurance,and he hadn't changed a bit. I couldn't wait to get out of his office. The man doesn't know how to smile let alone comfort a patient. I would never tell anyone not to go to him, but you've been forewarned!

Dr. Nahmias talks a lot more than he tries to listen to me. Without listening to his patients, how can he conduct clear diagnosis? Other than that, his receptionist is horrible. She doesn't understand the major medical insurance policy and also extremely rude. It's hard to believe that such an unstable person works in doctor's office.
