Dr. Harvey Gerald Ager, MD

Just terrible. I can not believe he’s still practicing after how he treats patients.

Dr. Ager was honest, personable, and helpful. Unlike some who have commented on this site, I found his report to be accurate to what was said during the consultation, and the doctor to be genuinely interested in helping me and not "working for the insurance companies," as some have claimed. I would highly recommend his services to anyone going through a rough time who needs a friendly ear and good advice.

This guy is a criminal and deserves jail time for fraud, libel and health code violations

Sadly, this man is not qualified in the slightest, his knowledge is painfully limited and is willing to say anything for the right price for hire. His patient reviews for 3rd parties have been proven to be not only sloppy but statements with no medical evidence, easily refuted by physicians from Mayo to your local clinic. His personal life is also questionable, rumors of substance abuse and domestic assault? Reminded me of my dad telling me how most docs that go into psychiatry have some mental issues or in their family history and looking for answers ... Make up your own mind though.

After receiving my IME, I decided to do some digging on Dr. dAger. What a shame that he hasn't lost his licensees as of now. At first I was feeling offended by his belittling report on me. It mad me step back and look over my own life. But what he didn't expect was a Me. I recorded my examination and took photos of his cluttered, back logged office. Office dirty-check. Lied, reworded and added his own words to the report-check. Office not set with handicap in mind-check.....I am in the process of filing a dispute. while doing my research I checked out his social media. This guy is the most sexually inappropriate person ever. No wonder he didn't have a secretary on duty. I personally find it distasteful for a male Dr. to ask you personal questions regarding your sexual life. One those questions had nothing to do with my claim. Secondly, why I would I talk to some strange old man regarding my personal life.....I encourage others to write words or phrases that he falsely added to your… IME Report. He quoted "Luck of the Irish". No offense but I'm African American. That's not exactly a term in my vocabulary. So I'm hoping to uncover if he is of Irish decent. What's most interesting about my claim is I only sought PT. So I've won even if I loose. The cost of PT to Dr.'s, lawyer's and ordering medical records; is simply funny. They should have simply paid for my PT, so I could move on with my life. The amount It may take some time but he and his counter parts will eventually find themselves in a class action law suit. And if that doesn't catch up with him. He doesn't have mush longer until he's in some continued living facility. Karma will always catch you at some point. So please everyone, treat people the way you want to be treated.

If I could choose a zero or negative star rating I would. If your place of work orders you to see this person, your time spent with him is a waste of your breath. He does not consider anything you say, nor does he consider anything from your treating physicians or tests. I doubt he treats any actual patients, he's just paid by workman's comp to provide a report stating you are able to work without restrictions. He has no regard for the Hippocratic Oath or you as a patient. He should not have a license to practice medicine.

Hes a worthless excuse for a human being a waste of air

I was sent to see this man by my long term disability program. I've been off work for 2.5 years, been approved for disability through Social Security. I have a traumatic brain injury with depression and anxiety along with PTSD and attention deficit all due to the TBI. This doctor states that I can return to work with NO restrictions. I am a respiratory therapist and need critical thinking skills to do my job. Those skills I no longer have and decision making is very hard for me. I don't know why this guy thinks I can work with no restrictions and my psychiatrist whom I've seen for 3 years almost 4 years says that I cannot work. I'll be seeing another few doctors and having repeat neuropsych testing. Do NOT trust this mans decision. He's in it for the money he receives from the work place and not at all about the disorders that patients suffer from.

This "person" is in the wrong field.
