Dr. Harvey Frankel

If I could mark 0 stars, that would be my choice. I brought my daughter (now 22) to this office for treatment when she was little, and I have been bringing my son (now 7) since he was a toddler. We missed an appointment (unintentionally obviously), and had to reschedule one appointment once in all of those years. We were on a trip to the Dominican Republic last week and that was the missed appointment.....honestly, when we got the confirmation call, we could not call back or listen to the voicemail, as we were out of the country. My husband called to reschedule my son's appointment this morning, and he was told that we could not reschedule him, and that they would be happy to fax my son's chart somewhere else. Needless to say, when I heard this, I called immediately. I wasn't told anything about any policy for a no show, and was told (by a woman who answered the phone) that Dr. Frankel himself stated that he would no longer be treating my son. I told her that I would like to hear that… from Dr. Frankel himself; whether it be via voicemail or a phone call to me. Between my two children and 20 years visiting this office, this is what I got. I even referred friends here....I will be sharing this with them as well. I will be sharing this with a lot of people. My husband called them back and told them that no follow up was being requested by me any longer, and that we would take our son somewhere else. This world keeps getting worse, and this office is no exception to that fact. I wouldn't recommend spending your hard earned funds at this office....I wouldn't want to contribute to his family, office staff, or him anymore anyway after being treated like this. Think about this before you take your kids here, there are plenty of other alternatives that treat their patients (especially little ones) with the respect that they deserve. We also took our granddaughter here to have her teeth looked at, and on the day of her appointment, this office called me at WORK twice asking me why my granddaughter was there stating that she had no appointment. Needless to say, she had an appointment and they ended up being wrong....with no apology for bothering me at work. I had a bad feeling back then....should have been our last trip. Glad this Doctor's true colors came shining through before I continued to contribute to his children and family.

Dr. Frankel had no patience & stormed out of the room after my child layed there and cried for over 10 minutes, he tried prying my childs mouth open whille he was choking and never spoke a word to my child. His asistant was no better, they spoke very little and were short tempered & very impatient, we will not return & will never suggest this practice to anyone. Very Disappointed & very upset.
