Dr. Harvey Joel Green, MD

ABSOLUTELY RECKLESS DOCTOR. do not go to him if you value your well being in a serious way and do not want to deal with a small man in an absolutely wrecked office who cannot take accountability for even the most minimal of mistakes to the much more serious ones (which he will make/ also he’s gonna make getting your prescriptions filled a pain in the ass if you want it written properly and accurately - he will blame the pharmacy / he will blame you to the pharmacist — he regularly sent in a wrong version of the right medication and it was a controlled substance so immediately i’m painted as a drug abuser. legitimately had to find a new pharmacy after this) i only kept with him for more than 1 visit because when i first moved here from out of state i just needed a doctor to continue my meds as they were at the time. he’s semi decent for that if nothing else. however, he will disrespect and talk down to you. he will get noticeably upset at any semblance of criticism or perceived… criticism ie what he says is right and everyone else is wrong in all situations. you’ll have to just keep your mouth shut and be as accommodating to him as you can in the 15 min or so of bogus small talk before you can go over every medication refill you need and you better do it METICULOUSLY. if you’re needing a new medication/ prescription, for whatever the issue is or could be, expect minimal discussion and expect to get it as long as you make it seem like it’s his idea after a min or so long discussion. no clue how he’s still licensed with his absolute disregard for patient safety with meds but i’m sure it works well for some people. seriously though, do not trust him with actually recommending a new medication for whatever it may be for as he quite frankly has minimal memory of you period. (he suggested i could have a diagnosis that he himself already both affirmed was accurate but also had me on meds for already! that’s when i finally switched) if you value your mental health, do not see him. if you value reckless disregard for what medications you put into your body, by all means - your golden ticket is right here.

He already had a disciplinary action against him from his board. He is grossly incompetent as a doctor. Moreover, he is a sexual predator who made sexual advances towards me including trying to invite me to his hotel while I was in a traumatized state. Stay away.

Patient info just laying around his HORRIBLY cluttered office (seriously, looks like an episode of Hoarders). I could literally see the name of at least 3-4 patients any time I was in the office. More than once, the folders were left open. Extremely rude when you have to cancel or reschedule an appointment. He is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional doctor I have ever been to. No idea how he keeps his licenses.

He called me and told me he would not continue seeing me after I called and canceled an appointment 2 weeks ahead of time. So I found another dr. When I didn’t call and beg him to see me. He sent me a bill for 675. What for I don’t know as every appointment I had with him was 100% covered by my insurance. I submitted the bill to my insurance company. Hopefully that will be the end of his nonsense

I saw Dr. Green for a number of years due to the results of childhood trauma. While under his "care," he shared private HIPPA information about other patients with me, misdiagnosed and overmedicated me, invited me on vacation to New York with him, and eventually attempted to massage/seduce me while I was in a very triggered state. Stay far far away from this pervert.

Take notice that most positive reviews are from women. He might try to belittle you, and blame you for his mistakes. He's a loner so if anything happens to him your screwed. All the negative responses I can't argue with. He's only human. He is very unprofessional , forgetful,and always right. So just remember why your their. To get your meds for recovery. Do not expect him to care. Use a practicing psychiatrist for that or a consular. Dr Green just wants to sit in his messy office writing scripts, and flirt with girls.

Doctor Green has proven to me he is the safest, most caring psychiatrist I have ever had. I have seen many! Not only has my mental health improved greatly. Dr. Green not only listens but provides solutions! I highly recommend him. And if you don't like him the first time, go back, and try again. Trust me, he is great.

Dr. Green is a biased Dr. Girls have it made. Either he likes you or he doesn't. Very disorganized and as long as I've seen him, I've seen no compassion. He fits into the category most doctors fall into were its not about the patient, its about the money. I'm afraid good doctors are few and hard to find.

He saved me from myself

This Dr is pretty easy to talk to. He is non judgmental and very easy going.
