Dr. Harvey P Simon

Dr. Simon is a rude, self centered, non-caring, arrogant individual in my opinion. I had great pain due to a cracked tooth, which ultimately ended up with an extraction, in a situation where the tooth might have had a fighting chance with a root canal. I was sitting patiently in the chair when he walked in chewing on a sandwich, "what can I do for you?" He did nothing except told me we would have to reschedule an another appointment. He didn't care enough to look at my mouth. In addition to the foul taste I already had in my mouth, his dismissive action made me understand I wanted nothing to do with this unprofessional individual. Stay away folks.

Very very rude and uncaring individual. Assistant tries to clean up the doctor's rudeness and arrogance. My son and I both received root canals and both were left with were infections. Dr. Simon refused to see either of us again and told us we needed to go to our referring dentist. We are both in a lot of pain, the pin started in one tooth and spread to the next. Now we have to wait for approvals for other Endos from insurance which can take up to days. Worse waist of time. Don't bring your loved ones here please. Save yourself the pain and grief.

READ..I understand dr.simmons that I dont have the best health care coverage (husky) but that doesnt justify you and your staff too lead me into hoping and believing that I'd be able to come in for a root canal procedure, then flat out deny me and release me as a patient. WHAT KIND OF DOCTOR WANTS TOO SEE SOMEONE SUFFER? talk to me verbally numerous times over the phone, give me a time period of 2-4 weeks make me suffer a whole month in the most unbearable pain of my life that I have ever experienced, (disclosure) I understand some of that time frame is due to insurance authorization, with that being said I found you and your staff to be some of the most un organized and un professional group of people I have ever encountered in the medical feild, Example 1: [you ask your patients to call back instead of following up on calls yourself then each time you call you just give a different day of the week to call back on] Example 2: [ you are flat out lying to my insurance company saying… you didn't receive my approval when its been approved for quite sometime now] do yourself a favor dr.simmons and just stop seeing patients obviously you and everyone who works for your businesses is not concerned of your patients health or well being at all. What a joke of a doctor wish I never had contacted you, waste of time.

Not a nice person

Is it possible to give negative stars? Dr. Simon has a lot to learn in life about becoming a human being. His profound arrogance and rudeness must reflect some deep seeded insecurities or, perhaps, he just simply is not a happy man. Dr. Simon, you would do well by getting in touch with your spiritual side. That is, of course, if you have any desire to be human. Somehow, I doubt that you do. PS. The office assistant is very sweet and cleans up after his obnoxious behavior very well.

Dr. Harvey and his assistant both apathetic, rude, and unprofessional. Assistant booked me for an appt. that I drove 45 minutes for, only to be told I had made a mistake and to come back at 1. When I got upset because I could not make it at 1, the assistant hung up on me. I showed up at the office and played the message she left confirming the appt., she then again asked 'did you call to confirm' even though the message clearly states she was booking me and to call only if there was a problem with the appt. The Dr. turned around in his chair, and loudly with great contempt, in front of an office full of patients, said 'You need to leave. We don't have to put up with your aggravation. I will not do the work. Find someone else.' Instead of taking responsibility for his assistant's mistake, he took the problem out on me, the patient. There are many other reviews on-line that speak to Dr. Harvey's unacceptable behaviour. Do yourself a favour. Do not put yourself in a position… to be abused by this small-minded staff. Excellent alternatives abound.

I had my first root canal performed by Dr. Simon. I was apprehensive, nervous, and concerned about the forthcoming pain I was going to endure. Dr. Simon made me feel comfortable and was very concerned that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I recommend Dr. Simon without hesitation! He called me personally the following day to find out how I was feeling. Does your doctor do that?
