Dr. Harvey Edward Slusky, MD

I have never gotten such a poor response from any Dr. office. Requesting refills on prescriptions is almost impossible. First I get a call from the pharmacy that they get no response. I go in and call and am always told that it will be taken care of, but it never is. I call again and want to talk to the office manager. She says she will look into it and call me back, but she doesn’t. It doesn’t have to be this way. I may have to get another Dr. even though I like Dr. Slusky and it is a pain.

Dr. Slusky is great and so are his techs. Everyone past the front desk are courteous, kind, friendly, and helpful. However, as much as I like them, that's how much I loathe the people at the front desk. And as much as I would like to give a 5-star rating, I cannot because of them. They are the first employees we patients meet and as the old saying goes: "You only have one chance to make a good first impression". Well, they failed. When I arrived for my first visit, I was already angry by all their silliness and bad attitude that I could hardly speak. Mostly I just nodded yes or no. I had endured so much just trying to get the stress test done. It had been ordered by my oncologist before he would do surgery because I had extremely high BP readings and he wanted to be sure my heart was ok. Twice the dr. office cancelled my appointment and then, on the day before the final appointment date, the office manager called me at work and asked me why I wanted the stress test because… she was "concerned" my insurance might not pay for it because high blood pressure was not a good enough reason to have one. I told her she would have to call my oncologist and ask him; he ordered it! I could go on and on but suffice it to say in my opinion, they should allher be fired or at the very list, given some customer service classes. Because I dislike them so much, I will be looking for a new cardiologist.

I really like Dr Slusky. He is a very low key type of Dr. Listens to his patience and spends a lot of time with you. very pleasant Dr.

I was a patient of his & I also worked for him & I loved him as my dr. and boss.

If you have to have a Heart Dr...he is the best!!

This man saved my life!!! What more can I say.

I've never met a more devoted physician. He takes the extra time needed to make sure that I come first. When he steps into the exam room I know the information he is about to give me is accurate and explains it to me with pure sincerity.
