Dr. Hasan Ahmad Al-Janabi, MD

This physician is not patient centered or family centered. He was disrespectful of family members and also the patient in his care. He spoke over family members and silenced them instead of listening to ensure he had a corrrect understanding. His notes were incorrect in our summary we recieved, which demonstrated he was not listening when the family was sharing the patient history. His arrogance made it such that he was too proud to admit that he was not understanding, which seems very disappointing in an emergency medicine provider. I would suggest finding a second opinion, he is certainly not one of the top ER physicians in our region. Very rude provider. Radiology or some position behind a desk wilthout direct engagement with patients would likely be a better match for this person since he has very poor interpersonal skills, particularly when speaking with women and Latinx individuals. He demonstrates a need to grow in his culturally responsive practice and active listening.

Dr. Al-Janabi is one the best lung doctors that has cared for me. He spends time addresses what is important to me and my quality of life. I feel very at ease with him!

I don't recommend him for anybody
