Dr. Hasan Asif, MD

Although Dr. Asif wasn't able to help me a great deal, I personally really liked him. He was always kind to me, asked me important questions, and took time with me when I had an appointment. However, his front desk lady is truly awful. She is not moral and I'm pretty sure is ripping off all of her patients. I told Dr. Asif I was having trouble with her a few times and he didn't do anything about it, so that's not good at all. The lady at the front desk was not submitting my bills to my insurance company and therefore I was not being reimbursed. When I called to tell her about this she continued insisting I was wrong. I never got a lot of that money back.

He rivals the best undergraduates in neuroscience. Don't waste your time. Still believes in right-left brain paradigms. Is unwilling and possibly unable to speak in much depth about his apparent knowledge-base.

I was in a very serious car aside to, when after three years told I must except my prognosis, somehow during a hospital stay my hospital records showed I was seen by Dr Hasin, I call right away, the rest is history, my life is slowing to the way I was before my car accident, I cannot even explain in words this Dr. talented, amazing treatments

The psychological needs of a doctor like Dr. Asif are indeed large, so I must recant my negative review of Dr. Asif as based on a misunderstanding. Excuse the review please.

Dr. Asif clearly has a God complex; once, in a session, referred to the idea of playing God in intellectual work. Thanks for the hint: play God in your intellectual work and you will feel better about your condition. He doesn't follow up with high risk patients and finds way to lie out of abuses of power: belittling, making fun, etc.. He uses the intimate nature of a relationship between a patient and doctor to compete and feed his sense of superiority. It's hard to say, Dr. Asif, but it's a rough world. Get used to it. My advice: Do not go. If you go, make sure to expect the worst. He hasn't yet learned that patients often come in suggestible states.

Please do not go to him for drug addiction rehabilitation. He does not follow up drug addiction medication with counseling, drug testing and therapy but suggests "brain therapy" instead which is also ineffective. My family member got progressively worse into drugs under his watch. Get help elsewhere.

I shared with this man that I had a sore throat and lost much weight for a year. He arrogantly decided that my illness was completely psychosomatic and that this sore throat was all in my head. He suggested I stop trying to find a reason for this chronic sore throat and take antidepressants instead! Well Mr,. I won't even refer to you as Doctor, I'm so glad I didn't listen to you as I have finally been diagnosed with Eagle's syndrome and my elongated styloid process has been sticking into my throat the whole time causing this chronic pain and weight loss. Just because you have an MD after your name - sorry that doesn't make you GOD - stop assuming the patient who is searching for answers that may not be medically obvious is crazy!

Dr. Asif is very calm each time I visit. The first time going in, I thought I had depression and anxiety. It turned out that I not only had those two things, but they were also caused by ADHD. I felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders upon hearing my diagnosis and he helped me right away. He is very relaxed and does not just ask questions; he goes over the brain activity that happens as a result of the disorder(s). I highly recommend him, especially for college-aged people. He is awesome!

What a quack asif is. I do not recommend him. He might be the worst psychiatrist i have visited. What a waste of my time and money.
