Dr. Memon changed our lives. My son struggled with OCD for almost two years, with constant rituals and mornings he couldn't even leave the house. We saw two other doctors first and saw little progress, but Dr. Memon was different from the first visit. He talked directly to my son, not just to me, and explained OCD in a way my son could actually understand. He used exposure therapy along with medication, explained every step before we started, and adjusted the plan whenever something wasn't working. He never rushed our appointments and always answered our questions. Six months in, my son is a different kid. He goes to school without meltdowns, sleeps through the night, and the rituals are mostly gone. We still have hard days, but nothing like before. Dr. Memon treats kids with real patience and respect, and treats parents like partners, not bystanders. I recommend him without hesitation to any family dealing with childhood OCD.

Setting up an appointment with Dr. Hasan Memon was smooth and the staff was helpful. However, the diagnosis we got from Dr. Memon for our child (that later turned out to be suffering from anxiety) was unhelpful at best and dangerous at worst. The diagnosis process was 1-hour long with the child and 30 minutes with parents; this is really not thorough enough to get an accurate diagnosis. But my main criticism is about two things: 1) Dr. Memon’s parenting advice was to use method in the 1-2-3-Magic book. This is extremely harmful for a child suffering from anxiety. 2) Dr. Memon’s advice to us when our 11y/o child refused to take the medications he prescribed, was to watch a YouTube explaining how to force-feed medication into a child. Again, terrible advice for any child, but even worse in the case of anxiety. 3) Dr. Memon recommended that transfer our gifted child to a special-ed school that turned out to be unable to support the child’s high IQ. Dr. Memon focused on disability,… and failed to identify the child’s strengths and talents. Be very careful with careless psychiatric diagnoses and recommendations!

Moreover, the clinic staff was always courteous, professional, and accommodating, making the entire experience pleasant from start to finish.
