just nowNEW-Edit My son was a patient of Dr. Hassan Alissa and we were very disappointed in his service. He is way more concerned with his pocketbook than the well being of hos patient's. My son has an autoimmune disease (Ankylosing Spondylitis) which is not temporary. He would only sign for temporary handicap permits and charged us $15.00 each time. We were initially told the first two would have to be temporary and then the third one would be permanent, not the case. Very harsh on someone who could barely get around and then had to go to the DMV twice a year. I asked his pediatrician about this and he volunteered to feel out the permanent form for no charge. What an uncompassionate doctor Dr. Hassa Alissa is.

I will not get the first appointment of the day again. I waited over an hour to see the doctor for 30 seconds. Luckily the PA spent much longer with me. I could have left after seeing the PA and would have had I known I would have to wait so long for 30-seconds with the doctor.

This was my 2nd appt with Dr. Allissa and as was the 1st appt everyone was so nice and friendly from the time I walked in to the time I left. I want to say a special note about meeting Ryan, Dr. Alissa's new NP. Very nice!! We went over my labs, answered questions that I had and made feel so comfortable. He definitely is personable and good start to briefing me while waiting for Dr. Alissa. I want to do a 'SHOUT OUT' to everyone to welcome him and he is great addition to the staff. I have only had two visits as I said before, but I feel that Dr. Alissa and I hit it off. He has a great smile and fun personality, but knowledgeable and professional. I don't have another appt for a couple of months but look forward to seeing everyone again regarding my health concerns. Ann P.

Dr. Alissa is a excellent Rheumatoid doctor. He makes time to talk to you, he is concerned about your overall health and he foresees the challenges you might have with other medicines. During my recent double cancer treatments he recommended that one med be dropped all together due to its reactions to my radiation’s. It was the right call. The oncologist reached the same conclusions after ours of research. I enjoy him and think of him in high regard.

I have been seeing Dr. Alissa for over 5 years and he has been helping me with what medications or treatments work for me. He has a very kind heart and cares for his patients always telling me never to give up because I am a hero. I have refered friends who struggle with RA or lupus . I only which that my insurance would be in network.Cigna

Very attentive and very professional.

He has been the most helpful. No one was able to figure out what I have so far and I am hopeful this could be the one. He just sat down with me and went through all my records and gave me a possible explanation to my symptoms. I am very much looking forward to my second visit.

I want to write a review because after seeing few rheumatologists over the course of my severe illness, this is the first one that I found to be non dismissive, very thorough and pleasant. This is my second visit to him and I am very happy. I would recommend to friends and family.

He call me "Hero". His receptionist can be scathing.
