Dr. Hassan Said Shukri-Mahmod, MD

My husband was diagnosed with MS in 2015 and had to hope. The day he started seeing Dr. Shukri I could see the hope in his eyes. Dr. Shukri is compassionate and you really do matter to him. Not only is he a great doctor he is an amazing man.

Dr. was thorough and result of this visit is that the most likely cause of my condition is a spinal issue. He has, hopefully by now, ordered an MRI and another test to confirm his initial diagnosis. I anxiously await scheduling of both tests.

I see Dr Ann Dow every 6 weeks to control nerve damage pain and severe migraine. Dr Ann is very professional and listens to me about medications and treatment with compassion I'll on and understanding. I highly recommend this practice. I was one of Dr Darren's patients prior. They make you feel very comfortable and have a personal understanding to what you're suffering. I am mostly headache free due to continued treatment.

Just diagnosed w Parkinson's, Rosemary Soto NP spent a ton of hands on time with me, complete work up, 1st Neurologist visit ever. She educated my wife and I, and consoled us, this diagnosis was not expected. She gave me hope n told me how to minimum the effects and make it so there is little impact on my life as long as long as I change course stay active. I didn't meet with Dr. Shukri, but he noticed in 1 glance as Rosemary Soto had me walk down the hall, she wanted to observe my hair, he right away said are you seeing him for Parkinson's? Best caring, compassionate staff. I look forward to meeting with Rosemary Soto and Dr Shukri in the near future.

I want to share how wonderful this office is! I see Darren for my appointments and I love that she makes you feel like her #1 priority! She listens and talks with you and you can tell she genuinely cares. Just went I thought I was losing my mind, she reassured me how normal I really was. Thank you Darren! The staff at the front check in and the medical assistants have all been wonderful as well. Dr. Shukri you should be very proud to have such wonderful staff.

DR. Shukri has outstanding chair-side manner. He has a very gentle demeanor and the ability to communicate diagnostic findings clearly but with empathy. He takes his time with patients to provide a thorough examination and follow-up tests appropriate to achieving an accurate diagnosis. His staff reflect his calm capable leadership.

Cancels appointment on my wife that suffers from Lupus and reschedules the day before the first time they cancelled. 3 months later they cancel a half hour before her appointment, which she didn't get any message. Refuse to see her when she arrives and reschedule again. She calls to get a refill of her medication and they chastise her that she hasn't seen the doctor in 6 months! Really? Yeah, that's because you keep cancelling them! Then they cancel her appointment again the day before her latest appointment, which was last week and wouldn't reschedule and refused to speak with her. We get a certified letter in the mail today, discharging her for cancelling her appointments. This practice is a joke, don't waste your time.
