Dr. Hatem Abed Asad, MD

My experience with Dr Asad goes back to I believe was 2016. I was rushed to the ER with a very bad case of pneumonia. Although I had never been a patient of Dr Asad's he happened to be in the ER when I was rushed in, my husband told me he came in and took over. He told the other workers there wasn't time for all the test. I was in the hospital for 30 days. I was kept in a medical induced coma for 30 days until I was able to be sent to a rehab hospital. I just experienced another problem and needed Dr Asad's help. He assured me he would find out what was going on. Wonderful doctor, he explained everything that had happened to my lungs. I give Dr. Haten Asad and Dr. M. AlWawi for my survival. He has a wonderful staff they are very helpful. Thank you Dr. Asad for being one of the reasons I am still here today. Most of all I thank the great physician, God, for allowing you to be in the ER so many years ago.

This place has got to be a joke. Was supposed to have telecom appointment. Stayed on phone for hour and a half, Doctor never showed by five oclock. All I needed was a refill on nebulizer medicine. The nurse only works two days a week and never checks messages, if you can leave one, messages are usually full. I've called and left messages for two weeks trying to get medicine refilled and schedule an appointment. To schedule appointment you have to leave message and may get a return call, but probably not. This is the sorriest most horrible service by staff, nurse, and Doctor, that I have ever been to!!! needs to be reported to the Better Business Bureau!! Sorry Excuse for a Pulmonolgist/Doctor or whatever this place is!!!!

There are some employees who currently work for Dr. Asad who have a criminal record. Not sure how thorough of a job is done when hiring. He currently has staff whom are substance abusers. Not a good look for his office.

He is very kind,understanding and compassionate Dr. He takes the time to explain things and you don't feel like your being rushed in and out . His staff went out of there way to help me get my medicine I needed after I was released from hospital. He has an excellent bedside manner and a sense of humor which most Dr's don't , most Dr.'s are like robots and you feel like your on an assembly line. Dr. Asad really cares about his patients.

I visited this office almost one week ago - even though the staff was nice and very polite, i must say the afterwords FAILS. Their customer service is terrible - they lost my lab and finally told me about it almost a week later then they lied and said they were in the process of getting authorization for a home sleep study - I called and was advised I could come Monday. Today is Monday and they have not sent off for authorization. So now I have to redo lab work and wait again and continue to wait for other services. Just because you are polite does not exempt you from doing what you claim to be - A PROVIDER.

Never had a more caring doctor and staff. I have had pneumonia and I really think he saved my life. I am still going to him 6 years later with my usual sinus infections etc. and he always seems to get to the root of the problem not just gets me well right then. Thank you so much for what you have done for me.
