Dr Hatem H Soliman, MD

I like Dr. Soliman well enough but beware, after you see him and are treated once, you are turned over to one of his minions. The person was very rough physically with me and when I complained my reward was to never see him again. I was scheduled under the person I complained about for the rest of my chemo procedures. Choose another doctor that might actually show up and not turn you over to his underlings that aren't even doctors.

I am not pleased with the way Dr. Soliman has treated one of my family members for the past couple years. She has a complicated health background and he does not look out for her best interest at ALL! I am highly dissatisfied with him. I have heard people rave about how wonderful he is, and he is a nice guy, but I would not recommend him if you have any other issues other than breast cancer. If any other issues or cancers complicate your breast cancer, forget about it. He is in it for the easy patients, not the more difficult ones. His bedside manner needs to change for those who have health issues.

I've seen many oncologists in my battle with breast cancer. It is rare to meet a physician like Dr. Soliman! Far from being dismissive of my concerns, he listened and explained all of them to my satisfaction (albeit not always what I WANTED to hear...but what I NEEDED to hear). He went out of his way to include me in the decision-making process and made me feel like my life was worth saving (i.e. worth being treated and not given up as a "lost cause". Wonderful.

Moffitt has a lot of doctors and all patients are always love their own. So am I. Dr. Soliman is very straight yet really care about patient. He takes time to LISTEN. Yes, sometimes waiting time is longer than expected, but because he LISTENS and ANSWERS all question you have. I highly recommend Dr. Soliman.

Dr. Solomon has been caring from the beginning. He has helped me understand the cancer I have, the treatment I need, and the side effects I am having. He explains all of the answers to my questions throughly and when I leave my appointment I feel very satisfied. He also is very professional, dresses professional and always smiles. That is very much needed with cancer.
