Dr. Hatim A Omar, MD

When I was 15, Dr. Hatim accused me of lying about being a virgin after a gynecology exam one of his staff performed. I repeatedly insisted I had never had any type of sexual contact before while he and his staff loudly berated me, calling me a liar in front of multiple staff members in adolescent health. They insisted I had an STI and despite my pleas with them to believe me, Dr. Hatim repeatedly said “you’re just not telling the truth” in a loud tone. I got tested elsewhere a week later after my Christian parents had already verbally abused me, thinking I had had sexual intercourse, when it turns out all I had was a regular case of BV, no STIs. I’m still distrustful of male doctors to this day largely because of Dr. Hatim. I gently urge all parents of female children NOT to take your child to see him.

Dr. Omar shows the confidence in his profession. He gives clear and helpful answers and guide lines. His staffs are very nice. They always call back if you leave them message.
