Dr. Hawwa Sharif Frazier, DO

Dr Frazier was excellent. Professional manner comforting and positive. Her ability to communicate to me as a provider of medical information was Greatly appreciated. I am glad to have her as my Primary Physician.

It saddens me to write this review. This doctor is very nasty and mean spirited. Nothing about the visit was helpful and constructive. From the time she walked in the room (not introducing herself) to the time she so called reviewing the initial work up with the intro vitals. Her response was reported okay; however, according to American Medical Society and research, things were in normal range. So I do believe Dr. Frazier has some projection and self issues that need to be addressed and the reason she come across the way she does. Be blessed sis you are definitely doing a disservice :( Btw: some staff was okay and some were nice. They were tolerable. The NP Matthew was very friendly.

Negative from the minute she walked into the room. Shamed me. Belittled me. I have never had such a horrible visit with any doctor. I will not be going to her ever again! Horrible.

I wanted to like her for my daughter, until I received her mean treatment. she actually said to me: “what if your daughter had died?” I was horrified that a medical professional was saying that to me. She asked me this in response to me deciding to run to urgent care to treat a high temp my daughter had, instead of calling her at 1am. I guess this was her way of using fear tactics, but that doesn’t work on me. She jumped to conclusions about the treatment my child received, but I didn’t even bother responding back to her I just shook my head and listened because I was fighting back tears. When I got in the car I cried soo hard the Uber driver had to pull over to console me. I saw red flags previously, but decided to be gracious about them, but she was never gracious with me as a first time mother.

I requested lab work by doing telemedicine. It was a little odd that she wanted me to make an appointment in order to start a medication on time. I nicely refused because I know what time to start if she instructed me. Then my lab work came back. Her receiptionist called to ask me to make another appointment in order to know the results. When I was living in other states, the doctor just emailed me the results and recommendations via patient portal or phone calls if I still have question. I finally saw the lab work result via labcrop the next day, but I probably won't know the interpretation of the results unless I make another appt. I don't know if every NJ doctor work like this (make another appt to know the lab results)? I just feel my whole experience was odd and I don't like it.

This was the absolutely worst doctors visit in my entire life. I am traumatized! Not only that but I was treated abominable from the moment I stepped foot in the office. I arrived early and was told to take a seat. 25 minutes later the receptionist asks for my insurance card and ID. 30 minutes after that she tells me that my plan does not cover well visits. It does I asked her to double check that she put in the information correctly she said No but I can call and get a reference number. I called and got a reference number my insurance company tried asked to speak with them and they refused. I waited another 40 min to be told that I need to pay a $200 deductible if I want to be seen. I said I have a $25 copayment and no deductible. They said it’s their office policy. The said can you please check your information the office manager gets mad and storms out of the room leaving a young man a young teen and maybe an 18 yo girl to try and explain why they need $200. She then returns to the… office tells them to leave and tells me I need to pay or leave. I say I will pay but I want to lodge a formal complaint of her treatment and ask for the doctors email address and her name she refuses and says that’s against HIPPA law. Then closes a the window in my face and tells me to leave or she will call the police on me. She then went on to lie and say my appointment was a no show so I could not write this review. I hope the doctor sees this and has a talk with her staff. I have never been treated so unjustified in all my life. I was speaking kindly to them the entire time and they treated me like dirt and refused to take accountability for their negligence and then lied by saying I was a no show.

Dr Frazier and her staff are very rude and unprofessional. All they care about is getting your money. You could be on your deathbed and they wouldn’t see you if you owed any money. She also keeps her baby there every day. What doctor keeps their child in the office all the time? On top of that, her “medical assistant “ is not even certified by the state! You are putting your life on the line by seeing this doctor!

There is a reason this doctor is always moving. Read her reviews on Google. She’s a disgrace to the profession and a horrible human being.

AWFUL!! UNPROFESSIONAL. MONEY HUNGRY, RUDE! From nasty uneducated nurse/receptionist, to the distracted, unemotional drab doctor. My experience was AWFUL. First visit, all i needed was a referral. Sat in the office 20 minutes without anyone coming to the front desk. Opened the door and said hello THREE times before anyone came out. Both Frazier and her nasty nurse came out and basically Told me To chill out , they’ll be there when they get therE. Frazier kept pushing to get a PAP done ( another reason for her to make Money, i have an OBGYN; no need for her to ever do that). She was distracted Bc her BABY daughter was in the second room Having a melt down and couldn’t concentrate on me. She Had to walk out of the room to tend to her baby. So i Left her office and never got referral although both the nurse and dr kept saying they’ll get it to me. I was confused . I Go back today for a follow up on blood work and to get the referral AGAIN. And said that my insurance denied a payment… (even tho she is my PCP, THEY MESSED UP) the ghetto nurse stood with her arms crossed waving my insurance card around saying that the dr won’t see me unless i pay her. So i asked her just for the paper with the referral bc that’s all i ever needed to start off. She went and asked Frazier and she comes back all ghetto and nasty with an attitude and said the dr won’t give u anything unless u PAY HER!
