Dr. Hayley Thu Nguyen, MD

This doctor was absolutely wonderful until I realized that the office staff pretty much runs the office and the doctor. Yes, the office mgmt team will scream at you over the phone, forcefully cancel appts, and over talk you if you cite any concerns or frustrations. They don’t complete requests and pretty much have a bottom line persona. In addition, you practically have to threaten to report them to the medical board to obtain a free summary of your test results. Yes, they will try to bill you for a summary of the labs that your insurance company has paid for. The doctor will not provide a summary of your test results even if you cite concern or if your results come back low or high for three consecutive years. So I would suggest that you’re educated in reading your labs. Otherwise, you may need to pay out of pocket for an appointment in which she will show up late and meet with you for 15 minutes. Furthermore, the typical office visit with the vitals clerk will consist of you saying… good morning to the vitals clerk and she totally disregarding you and treating you like a number. The new office staff has a very DRY and rude personality. I’ve been with this doctor since 2017 based on my portal info and she literally sent me a message via the portal this morning providing me with my full medical record for my “new doctor.” Lol. Mind you. I never said that I was choosing another doctor lol. This goes to show that if you question your rights as a patient in Texas and are persistent with your beliefs, you will be treated as a nuisance. They are good as long as you pay and don’t ask any questions. I would recommend this doctor is you’re SUPER healthy and morales aren’t important to you. Oh and if you have been financially THRIVING the last couple of years through this devastating pandemic economical crisis. This is my honest opinion as a long term patient. I could never stay with a doctor who doesn’t trust or see the side of their long term patients over their short term, rude staff. Move forward wisely. Otherwise, she is wonderful as long as you don’t create a challenge that she would actually have to look into.

Dr Hayley is a responsible, experienced and highly responsive Doctor. She was absolutely efficient and always was on target when I was not feeling well. Sadly, I turned 65 and does not accept Medicare and I could no longer have her as my Primary Care Physician.

had been a patient of Dr Hayley Nguyen for almost 10 years until today. Her office staff is rude and incompetent (Isabella in particular). She is rude and condenseding on a normal bases the past 3 months. I waited an extra 5 months to get my physical so i could be seen in office due to covid. The Dr will only work from home and you will see an incompetent PA who doesn't bother to read your chart or understand the questions/concerns you have. I have issues where i needed a baseline of my B vitamins for an appointment with a new neurologists as well as a B vit injection as I have absorption issues. They screwed up and gave me the b vit injection BEFORE the blood draw and screwed that all up. Then I had an accute migraine attack the entire week and all I got was a extremely rude argumentative office staff and the dr will not call me or do a televisit, as that´s all she's good for now anyway. They keep sending me a refreral for a neurologists I had already told them 4 times I had an… appointment with, but the neurologists could not get me seen before the Nov 2 appointment date. It's a shame, she used to be a great dr, but you can tell you're just a number, made to feel like an inconvenience and just $$$$ in their pocket when it's convenient for them. Save yourself the frustration and staff incompetentcy and find a better PCP office.

I am so frustrated with Dr. Nguyen. As others have noted, extremely bad bedside manner. Physicals are nothing but a blood test and a stethoscope on chest. My husband went to her for what we thought was hemorrhoid, she gave him medicine after talking to him for 4 minutes, didn't bother to look at it. Later he went to a male doctor who was willing to look and it was a cist. What if it had been cancer? Also what seems very unethical is the way she pushed steroid shots and B-12 shots just to make you feel better. No warning about what steroids can do, how you can't sleep, nothing. I've been putting up for a long time but I'm scared as I get older. She is really indifferent and I don't feel safe. Latest is billing issue.. they switched labs and the one they chose is not in my network, so now I'm stuck with bill. I called, complained, asked them to pay, no word back. I don't usually do this kind of reviewing but I"m pretty sad/mad about this situation.

Dr. Nguyen has found the cause of my pain and gave me the right treatment. She is extremely kind.

I very much trust, respect and recommend Dr.Nguyen.

With dr nguyen I am a person not a clip board. She is so personalable and sweet.

Great doctor but the receptionist is rude and horrible.

Wonderful, caring, prompt, efficient, personable. I've been seeing Dr. Nguyen for 7 years and have been happy with the service.

Have been a patient several years, on recommendation of my neighbor, and my husband is now her patient as well. We are both pleased with the quality of our health care with Dr. Nguyen, and her wonderful staff.
