Heather Bland, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner Heather Bland is well-acquainted with the Baptist Health Family. She has worked in our clinics for several years, notably leading efforts at our Coronavirus Care Clinic during the peak of the pandemic. Heather is a certified and registered nurse practitioner specializing in family medicine, with over 20 years of diverse nursing experience.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and her Master of Science in Nursing, focusing on Critical Care and Trauma, from the University of California, San Francisco. Additionally, she completed her Post-Master's in Family Practice at Troy University.
Heather is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Emergency Nurses Association, and the Alabama State Nurses Association. Her clinical focus is on preventive medicine and women's health. She is board-certified by …both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Heather loves traveling, cooking, and watching college football and basketball while spending time with her family. Her husband proudly serves in the Air Force, and together they have two children.
