Heather Bowman

Heather Bowman, OT, is originally from Minnesota and moved west to pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy through the University of North Dakota’s Casper, WY satellite program. She completed her capstone in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and earned her OTD in May 2022.

Since graduation, Heather has primarily practiced in outpatient pediatrics, working with infants and toddlers with feeding difficulties and developmental delays, as well as children and teens with attention deficit, anxiety, Down syndrome, selective mutism, and autism. Her approach emphasizes sensory integration, social engagement, and play-based interventions.

Heather is excited to serve both children and adults at Intermountain Holy Rosary Hospital, supporting them in achieving their goals and gaining independence in activities that are meaningful to them. She is committed to ongoing professional growth through continuing education, staying current with research, and engaging in mentorship …opportunities. Outside of work, Heather enjoys hiking, photography, traveling, and watching hockey with her significant other.
