Dr. Cadena and Staff do an amazing job! Dr. Cadena always takes her time with her patients and listens. Her bedside manner with children is truly the best I’ve found, in a long long time. I would refer any of my friends and family to go see Dr Heather Cadena.

Great doctor and great staff

My son had Autism and I beleive he was treated different because of the. Never showed any interest in his issues. No advise just snarky attitudes and I felt like they thought ther where better than me. We have since found a Dr that loves our son.

Having just moved here from out-of-state, we researched area pediatric doctors and found Dr. Cadena to have outstanding reviews and recommendations. However, when trying to get our 8-month-old in for an ear ache, the office manager, Debbie, told us that the earliest she would schedule the baby to be seen was in 3 weeks. They have openings sooner but she will only work-in a sick child if they are an existing patient. She told us that we should have scheduled the appointment sooner because "new patients take more time than an established patient and (they) could not spend the time on a new patient." (Mind you, we just moved to MI, we couldn't predict that our child would get her 1st ear ache today, the facility is accepting new patients, and they have openings.) She also said that they send existing sick patients to the urgent care to accomidate well visits that were scheduled months in advance. Since when is it more important to see a well child over a sick child and if a doctor has… an opening, it should not matter who is seen during that time slot. Debbie was not helpful, nor polite. We were able to find a pediatric facility with equally high reviews, that has a courteous staff, and was more than willing to work in a sick 'new' patient. I hope Debbie can sleep at night turning away sick children to accomidate her (ridiculous) schedule policy.

Dr Cadena is a nice doctor. Her office staff are terrible. Her assistants are constantly talking about their personal business loud enough for patients to hear while in the waiting room. The billing department needs to be better educated. I have twice received a bill before my insurance submitted payment and was told I couldn't be refunded but the amount I payed would be credited to my account. Because of the staff I no longer take my son to this doctor.
