Dr. Heather Joan Gillespie, MD

I haven't been seeing her for very long, but she is working very hard to get my RA in remission. She is very thorough and e xplains everything she is doing. She takes time to answer questions. Thank you DR. Also Suzanne FNP IS great. She is very knowledgeable and also is compassionate about her work. Rosa RN is also a terrific nurse. She goes out of her way to help you. Sat for 50 minutes in the waiting room. Didn’t see Dr Gillespie until 1 1/2 hours after I arrived. No thanks!

She only wanted to answer the questions she want to. When I asked a question, she repeated previous answers even tho the answer had nothing to do with the question. When I said I think you misunderstood my question, she said she didn't, and I needed to listen to her or find another doctor, so I did.

I'm very happy with DrGillespie and her staff! In my case,for many years I have suffered from an rare and painful form of arthritis. I have had some very hard time's so much so that I have came close to just wanting to give up and due to the pain really just didn't even want to live any more.She gave me hope that kept me from giving up.And even found a new medication that I am going to start soon.All and all I could not have found a better Dr. and I am thankful for her and her staff.

Dr Gillespie is a very caring Doctor ; She gets to know her patients and her diagnosis is always on que ; I have Been seeing her for at least 9 to 10 yrs since she came here ; praying she never leaves this area ; I have recommened alot of people I know to her and always will she is the BEST ; My visits with Dr Gillespie is always satisfying she never leaves me wondering bout things with my health ; She explains things to were you totally understand

I've been seeing Dr. Gillespie since 2011. I highly recommend her for treatments for Sjogren's Syndrome and inflammatory arthritis. She is extremely competent and compassionate towards my overall health. She has my complete trust and confidence in guidance towards my long term health care.

The first visit I had with her she was wonderful. She took notes and listened to all of my symptoms and concerns. She was very caring and spent a lot of time with me. After testing, dx, and a treatment plan, my follow up visits were unpleasant. I would have to wait nearly an hour to get maybe five minutes of her time and she would no longer address my questions and concerns. The last two visits I left in tears. Then I had an excruciatingly painful flare up of my condition and it took 3 days to get help from her office. The nurse kept lying about calling me back. That was it for me. I have since gone elsewhere.

Dr, Gillespie is a wonderful, caring physician, always seeming to have time to listen thoroughly. After suffering for 2 years with a painful left ankle and seeing orthopedics who suggested surgery, Dr. Gillespie to note of a new pain in my right shin. She did what no other doctor did, took an x-ray of my knees and hips on both sides and discovered i had no cartilege in my right hip. This was never investigated by any other doctors. Hip replacement corrected all problems including my left ankle which was taking the brunt of a hip problem on the other side of my body. I will be forever grateful. She has also treated my gout successfully.Her staff is friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for better care.

I love Dr. G and her nursing staff they are so compassionate and caring what a relief it has been to become a patient, with psoriactic arthritis not sure i spelled it right but there it is anyway.

You couldn't ask for a more caring and compassionate Dr than Dr G. I went with my mom who was scheduled for a routine check-up for her arthritis. When we told Dr G. about my mom's recent diagnosis of lung to brain cancer she was not only very compassionate, but offered us so much help as far as info on websites, assistance with disability filing and referrals for oncologist etc...All I know is I can't thank her enough for her kindness and concern. It's nice to know there are still doctors out there who will take the time to go above and beyond to do what's in their patients best interest. We will never forget that!
