Dr. Heather Carroll Kompanik, MD

Dr. Kompanek takes all the time she needs to talk to you and ask questions. You never feel rushed or like she is thinking about something else. 100% focus on you and why you are there. She explains everything well and will even show you where to read further information concerning tests or diagnosis. I appreciate her caring heart and her expertise.

Dr. Kompanik takes the time to thoroughly go over your history so that she has a complete picture of your health; she asks questions that are important so that her diagnosis is based on as much info as possible; and she has a great rapport with her patients because she understands that everybody's personality and concerns are different . I highly recommend her for kids and adults.

I just recently moved to Mooresville N.C. and I am very happy I found Dr.Kompanik. She takes the time to listen and talk to me and makes me feel at ease. She corrected some medications that another doctor had given me in my old state and I am doing alot better because of her. I can never go to another doctor because I know I would not get the same care I get from her. It took me 44 years but I finaly found a great doctor. I highly recommend her.

This lady does not understand how insurance works and she will end up costing you a lot of money. After my third visit of her saying "this is covered by my insurance" and then getting a huge bill not covered by my insurance... i will never go to her again. After many phone calls with my insurance and Dr. kompanik's assistant, i still ended up paying the bill. One bill was because she added an unnecessary test to an ordinary physical which obviously was not covered by my insurance and i did not ask for. Insurance wouldn't pay for it, and kompanik claims this is sometimes offered under normal phsyicals at their office. She will not get my business.

I love Dr. Kompanik, she really listens and maks sure you understand your treatment options.
